it is good course and please don't skip it thinking that it is all theoretical and boring but believe me it will surely help you understand different terminologies that are used in the language of a Data Analyst, and also various tools/platforms that are currently playing their role in market.

Generally a good introduction. The strong focus on career paths and job opportunities is certainly a plus for new starters, for someone taking the course out of interest it is a bit of a drag. I thought the final examination was formulated a bit careless, but overall a good introduction.

I had a slow start on this course due to some other committments I could not get out of, as a result the initial course material I could not easily take in because of the rush rush in trying to catch up. I have now settled into a rhythym and I believe much better things are still to come.

Good course providing an overview of the different jobs and specializations of the Data Analytics field.

Also hints toward some of the technical skills, tools/software and soft skills required. A great place to start, a bit lengthy if you already have a foot in or some knowledge about it.

Before starting this course, I had little to no clue about data analysis, this course gave me a huge knowledge of what data analytics is about. Now I can relate to some data terminologies and I'm more conscious about data and its effect. Thank you, IBM and Cousera for this course.

It is a good course indeed. It is just a bit boring and superficial, because of the "lazy" assignments. The technical phrases are sometimes hard to understand, and the video layout is highly appealing but the contents are a bit confusing and limited (at least for a beginner).

As this course is an introduction, it is very fact based. While there are several videos bringing in real people from the profession, there are also several videos just delivering the facts. They do a good job at hitting all the important points but can at times be boring.

The course was good and straight forward. The issue with Peer Reviewed final grades, is many people don't understand the vagaries of the English language, making the sharing of thoughts from multiple viewpoints potentially detrimental to an individual's score in a class.

As I had already done much of this course in my job, I didn't find too many things new-to-me. I found it hard to concentrate at times as much of the information was repetetive, however, if I had no experience at all, this would have been a very good first introduction.

Great course all in all. Definitely a great theoretical dive into the world of Data Analytics and all it's different layers. The only thing missing, for me, was an exercise where we could actually use SQL for a simple task. A first brief contact with querying language.

I enjoyed the course very much. I learned about a career that I didn't know existed and the more I learned about it the more interesting it became. This course gave me a new plan of action and at my age a chance to succeed in an industry that seems new and exciting.

Data Analytics is indeed a unique course, the fact that it deals with man's live makes it exceptional. I have gained a lot, not only the background of this course but also some key factors one have to consider in life process. Thanks for bringing this course on board.

Excellent course to get a complete idea of what is Data Analytics, the technologies it use and the daily work of a Data Analyst. Maybe too general for those who already have decided to become Data Analysts and therefore have already knowledge of this information.

En mi opinión la información es clara y los videos concisos, el único error a corregir es que los exámenes están en inglés, y cuando me anote al curso daba la opción en Español. Mas allá de todo, una muy buena introducción y buen contenido, muy completo.

I really appreciated the parts where there were input from data professionals. My favorite section would be the last module that helps you understand paths you can take whether you are already a data analyst, a data scientist or in a "data-enabled" role.

A good course, I loved insights from the professionals. However, some information is delivered in just one sentence about what it is and how it works, but it is difficult to understand without any prior experience with a given subject, e.g. OLAP.

The course is very helpful for a person with no technical/computer science/ IT related background. I expected the course to be more advanced in terms of the practical aspects of the course. I wish it has more data analysis based assignments.

Es muy largo el primer curso. Siempre está bien ver los fundamentos teóricos de las cosas antes de arrancar una disciplina pero se vuelve un poco tedioso. Tendría que estar un poco más combinado con el uso de programas y/o casos prácticos.

I liked the content and that it was easy to learn in a short amount of time, but I would have preferred a more interactive and practical course. However, after it was clear to me that it is more theoretical, it was good to learn the basics

Introduction to Data Analytics is one of the most imporant courses for those who are seeking a career in Data analysis. It gives you a comprehensive understanding of data analytics main tasks, echosystems and needed skills and expertize.

Overall I found this course very informative and easy to use. It helped me to understand whay data analytics is and if it is something I wish to pursure further. I found the discussions helpful and my questions were answered quickly.

Although a necessary base to begin the certificate, or a broad understanding of the tasks, skills and software that will be used, I found some sections repetitive or too simple.

Must be done though. And it is well prepared and explained.
