I recently completed a course on Coursera and was excited to obtain a certificate. However, when I tried to get the certificate, I was prompted to subscribe. Initially, I was fine with the monthly subscription option, but at the end of the process, I was required to opt for an annual subscription instead. This lack of clarity upfront about subscription requirements was frustrating, and I ultimately decided to cancel without obtaining the certificate. Transparency regarding subscription options and certificate access from the start would significantly improve the learner experience.

These videos cover the basics but they don't say what instances you would use the code in. The assignments asks for things that was not gone over in any of the videos (I have gone over the lectures three times). You learn to list all coffees with the letter C out of a list of coffees but in the assignment you are supposed to return a list with employee names and their jobs and there is example code I have never before seen. It is infuriating and all I've learned is that I have wasted a lot of time.

Thanks for putting together the course. Breadth of content was good and helpful. However, the content is not well structured, with overlaps, quizzes before content, insufficient explanation in some areas, non-ideal examples and technical inaccuracies. This should be reviewed, to be more accessible for newcomers to programming

The worst class I have ever taken. No support whatsoever. Nobody monitors questions on the discussion group and that is the only place you can get any help. I see a lot of students having problems and no replies.
