"The Cognos hands on labs were frustrating because some of the steps didn't have screenshots as they asked you to do them and just assumed you knew where tools were for your first time using it. Sometimes it didn't work the way explained either."

It seems outdated, the course materials are not uploaded into a separate directory in the course materials or resources, making them often difficult to find. The Cognos demonstration was critically inadequate.

Content is outdated, and instructions are very vague and incorrect at times. I had issues completing the peer graded work, and had to find workarounds to be able to pass the course.

Wish that the course could spend more time teaching visualization tools that are more widely used in industry instead of Cognos. Not a lot of companies use Cognos.

i think we could have used a bit more exercise, information and practice with Cognos Analytics. It felt really short, also the trial should last minimum 60days.

The databases used in the hands-on labs are out of date and have poor formating, which makes it impossible for students to follow instructions.

Overall a good introduction to data visualization. I would have liked to have more training and practice on using pivot charts in excel.

The instructions given throughout the labs as well as the final assigments need to be made more clear. At times there were confusing.

I really love the skill am aquiring as it will help me to adavnce my career .Thanking Coursera team for this great opportunity

Includes incredibly irrelevant questions of type what did person X say in video Y. Does not actually test knowledge on the topic

Excel was ok, But Instruction on Cognos was very much inadequate. I feel like I learn't excel but not Cognos.

Last teacher's lecture (Kevin) was very bad and some answers dont't match with the Excel for web version

IBM Cognos is not a common dashboard making tool in the market!! Teach us Power BI or Tableau instead.

Cognos is somewhat broken for our purposes.

Unfortunately, the course requires several updates.

IBM Cognos is not used widely, PowerBI or Tableau would have been an appropirate choice.

Sound quality of videos was low and presentation was a bit jumbled

the qulaity of video and volume were low and unsatisfied.

Quite a bit tougher than I thought it was going to be.

The final assignment is terrible, it only allows you to submit 1 file for Part 2 and specify it's for "Sales". It's really confusing where to submit the file for "Service", I combined these 2 files and submitted it together, but the reviewer didn't find it and gave me 0 points. it's not their fault, it's because the setting is unclear. The score doesn't affect anything, but it makes me look like a joker after spending an hour completing it and spending 10 minutes trying to export it as a PDF only to find out that I have to use Edge instead of Chrome.
