I really enjoyed this course and I am happy with the education I've received from it. I like the pacing, switching between videos, readings, interactive examples, and exams. All of this helped me cement what I learned in the course along with the notes I took along the way.

This course really helped my understanding of cybersecurity and some of the key terms used in the industry. The delivery of information was easy to understand. The test for each section was in a format was easy to complete, but required me to think about what I had learned.

I can't write here what I learned during this course, and I like to thank again and again Coursera Team specially my lectures and I requirement everyone who liked to understand and star cyber security career.

This course gives you foundational understanding of cybersecurity, in an easy to follow and extremely interesting way. For someone who have no any background of cybersecurity or even IT, this course helped me a lot to understand the field and gave me a deep insight into it.

This course is a comprehensive and practical approach to cybersecurity, equipping learners with the skills and knowledge needed to address real-world threats effectively. Its emphasis on proactive strategies and hands-on exercises fosters a proactive cybersecurity mindset.

Foundations of Cybersecurity was engaging, informative, and easy to flow through. I went through the course while in the middle of a move. Finished in approximately 13 hours and felt amazing once I saw my certificate. It gave me the motivation that I needed to keep going.

This was an excellent and well structured introductory course that has slews of information that it doesn't throw at you all at once. It honestly feels more like an employer's training program more than an online college course, and that's not a bad thing by any means.

As a beginner I really enjoyed this, so much to learn and take in, however the steps are really useful and provide alot of insight into the realities of the role, jobs you'll be doing once qualified and measures necessary to succeed.

This course has beautifully covered all foundational concepts of cybersecurity. This course is designed particularly for someone who has not any background of cybersecurity and want to build foundation in this field! I appreciate the work of Google Career Certificates!

This course teaches the basic concepts of cybersecurity including terms used in the industry, how the industry shaped throughout the years, several attacks in the past, frameworks and guidelines to reduce the risk of being attacked, and finally professional statements.

I thought that this course would be a very daunting task to learn. However, the course was/is broken down into small digestible bites. Plus, you can learn at your own pace too. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to break into a career of cyber-security.

Suuuuper great class, I really appreciate when a note pops up and says others have watched said video 2 or 3 times. I take that and absolutely watch that video a few times. I get it, its a lot of lingo. But the class is super clear and concise and i appreciate that.

Before starting this course, I didn't really know much about Cyber Security and its applications. But after starting this course, I came to know what actually Cyber Security is and how it helps people to keep their data safe and secured without causing much trouble.

This course has given insight to the vast world of cybersecurity. It has helped shape my learning path to this career path. I am most grateful to the tutors for simplifying the course, so that rookies like me would be able to learn and easily understand the course.

If you've never had experience in the field of cybersecurity or maybe have indirect experience and are looking to learn more, this is the course for you! Great pace, not overwhelming, and super insightful. I'm excited to complete the next 7 courses after this one.

Gets you through the basics in a simple way at your own pace, if you don't feel like doing more at some point you can come back to it when you feel better. Just be ready for the professional statement, bit tricky to understand for some based on feedback I've seen.

I enjoyed studying on the Coursera platform in one of the most difficult majors in computer science, which is cybersecurity, which turned into something easy to study and understand with ease through the platform.

It helps me a lot in knowing what is the importance of cybersecurity, its history, and the basic knowledge of what programming languages will be used. It also broadens my understanding of how the security works in order for us to be protected against cyber crimes

I loved the structure format of Google Courses this is not my first course i already done a lot of courses to expand my knowledge i came here knowing nothing and exit like an expert. Kudos to Coursera too for providing easy UX to make it easy to track and learn.

This course explains what you're getting into as a cybersecurity enthusiast and helps you to present yourself professionally. Within are helpful tips to propel your understanding of the work you are interested in doing. I love how informative and helpful it is.

As a beginner with no prior knowledge of cybersecurity, it was challenging yet exciting. There was a lot of terms to learn and remember for tests, but I believe the first course was well structured for beginners. The videos were simple and informative as well.

I personally like how the course content is organized. Mostly, the reading part of each module is fully details about the concepts are really helpful along with the lecture video. The lecture is full of foundational knowledge of Cyber Security roles and tasks.
