A good non-technical into... is there a more formal taxonomy of the subdisciplines of AI? I feel as if I learned a lot but could not explain how expert systems, ML, etc. relate to each other.

I enjoyed this course, especially the first two weeks. The course introduced me to different aspects of AI that were previously unclear to me.

Week three was difficult for me to accept as it was laden with IBM bias --- which was interesting as bias was a part of the discussion. I realize that IBM and Coursera are obligated to be politically correct, but to believe that the ethics outlined in this course will be followed is folly and a major concern. Those individuals who have the power and resources to use AI in unethical ways will do so, regardless of ethics. We are already seeing fraudulent AI applications, and no five-pillar document is going to change how people behave.
