Very short and simple course to introduce cybersecurity as a field. I'm familiar enough with the industry that this was just a refresher, but for anyone that is brand new to the industry, it is an excellent first look into the industry. I appreciate how in this course (and the other courses in the Google Cybersecurity certificate program) that we hear from Google employees and their nontraditional paths into cybersecurity, reassuring that it is okay to make the transition into a new industry.

I have gain a lot of knowledge from this foundation course. It worth it, my thought on cybersecurity was just looking at the monitor and it seen boring. But, after taking this course I realized the job is an interest job it more than starring at the monitor, especially the eight domains. It made me feel that without me my company is not safe. The course really shape my knowledge and review about cybersecurity and urge to continue the rest of the course to gain more knowledge.

This was a very good introductory course into the field of Cybersecurity. A great thing I noticed is that while there is a lot of information to take in, Google does a really good job of giving you practical examples to help you understand how the terms are used in real life, in addition to just definitions. (Meaning, knowing key-terms is great, but the key to learning is being able to understand how these key-terms are translated in a real-life working scenario)

However, after starting the course and now completing it, it is truly for beginners. It is a plethora of information to process, but it was broken down pretty simple and with all of my notes and being able to go back through the course at any time, it's definitely a setup for success!

I like this course. Because it has reading involved impressed by the course structure. Tried a couple of online courses. Most of them involve a lot of videos which makes it boring. This course does not have very long videos have a perfect combination of videos and reading material. I like the fact that it has quizzes at the end too. Help me stay motivated and pay attention. Good scores keep me motivated and give me a sense of accomplishment.

My goal is to become a cybersecurity professional and grow in this field. I have a passion for security. Initially, it was challenging – learning the platform took a lot of time.
