It is a decent course. The concepts are explained keeping in mind that you have no background with coding. i personally like the professor pretty much. I enjoyed learning.

A truly understandable course for a python starter. Fairly understandable content with a experienced instructor. Would be better if more practising materials can be given.

Excellent intro into Python. I feel I have built up momentum and motivation to continue learning. I'm very impressed with The University of Michigan's standard of tuition.

It was a great experience and will continue the courses with Michigan University and particularly with Doc Severance who is a really great guy and lecturer!!! WELL DONE!!!

Professor Severance is very clear when he explains concepts. Learning python seems funny and not so difficult, especially if you know other programming language such as C.

Very Nicely packaged course contents, taking you from the basics of Programming till the functions/ conditionals and loops in Python with appropriate assessments practice.

It was a tremendous help and guide through the basics of python! I really enjoyed the videos and assignments given to assist in better understanding programming in python.

It was a very good experience to study the course from coursera.

Coursera has also helped my friends in their particular courses.

I was already well into lessons on another platform, but Prof. Severence does a great job of explaining "why" something works instead of just the syntax required to do it.

The Lecturer was very clear about the topic and very easy to follow. The course materials are also very easy to understand with little or no prior knowledge of programming

Great intro to Python if you come from a non-programming background. Instructor is great and the materials are well produced and clearly explain the concepts and objects.

I loved this course. Its really good for beginners, though I was not completely one. The teacher is funny and knows how to explain the concepts in a clear and concise way.

It is a very interesting course which will help you to understand and start doing your own programming. The professor is really pedagogic so you will find it easy to lear.

it was really helpful for me as i was a new guy to this language and all that i want to say about this course is that it gave me an overview for building logic in python.
