The course structure is well-designed for a beginner, the content was relevant and up-to-date, and the instructors were knowledgeable and engaging. This part of the course provided me with an introduction to what data can do in our everyday life. How data analysts can solve problems using data, and different tools and programs we can use from the data analytics toolkit.

It does a great job showing the world of data analysis to someone who does not know about it. Even for people a little experienced with data like me ( in a geology college background) is very useful to understand the big step you're taking. It nails as a preparatory course for the rest of the program. I'm excited to continuing this journey. Thanks Google and Coursera.

This is a well designed, well thought out course which had lots of information that I can, through experience, confirm. It has been a few years since I actively worked on any business data projects, and this course had me feeling like I was back on a work-team, getting answers that the business needs! I look forward to continuing to learn as I move on to Module 2....

What I enjoyed about this course is the personal stories of the trainers and the explanation that some companies have a variations of key terms. The personal stories ground the training and give me the inspiration to continue, while the explanation of variations on the the data life cycle or the analytical processes helps to clarify the commonalities across approaches.

I enjoyed learning about the basic building blocks of data analysis. Learning about subjects like fair practices, bias and having a diverse workplace along with the processes of data analysis, the importance that data has in our lives, and the tools that well use in our career gives me a better understanding of what itll take to be a successful and productive analyst.

I am saying a very big thank you to the Coursera team for the good work that is going on here, by bringing a topnotch education to a common man remotely, and also my gratitude to Google who have rendered this course for free, you will continue to excel in your business and also prayed to excel with the skills I am aquiring via this platform.

This course is unbelievable well-structured and the content is quite easily digestable. It has opened up my mind to the world of data and its applications in the business world as well as in peoples' daily lives. I would strongly recommend taking this course for it will change how you view the world of experience around you from a passive view to a more dynamic one.

I love this course! This course is perfectly designed for someone that does not have a lot tech experience. They did an incredible job of making the information digestible for beginners. I also appreciate the motivational clips from the speaker. The videos keep me motivated as I work through the course. I cant wait to finish and start a career as a business analyst!!

This course helped me to understand about the general view of data. What are they used for, in what ways we can use them and how to look and think what are the insights that we are getting from the data. There will always be questions that we need to ask ourselves about the data that we want to analyze. Overall, it is a good experience to understand the basic first.

The class was very informative and basic. I liked that they broke the data analytics process down to six different phases, which gave me a clear structure of the procedures a data analyst would go through when handed an assignment. I found the format of this class to be engaging and interesting. The stories shared by Google employees were relevant and informational.

I want to say a very big thank you to Coursera for the opportunity given to me to enroll to learn more about data analysis on their platform which has helped in -various data collection and problem-solving It is an honor that I cherish a lot. Excellent introduction to the core concepts around data analysis, as well as a great review for anyone who has already had an introduction. It really breaks everything down into bite size pieces and introduces each concept in small portions so you don't get overwhelmed. It's also really encouraging to hear from employees at Google and get to know their experiences.

This is great, I absolutley love it. The course covers all the basics and questions you migth have throughout the learning period. The content is also well organized and ready to use. The course also provides a lot of resources that are key. The course frequently allows you to apply what you learned. This has to be the best way to kick start my data analyst career.

Course 1 was great, I love how thorough and easy to follow along with the reading material and the terms taught. I also loved watching their videos and testimonials of the google employees telling us their experiences and insights. I love how google had the transcripts below the video as you can follow along as they are speaking, as you can take notes on the sides.

This is a great introduction to the world of data. Tony is an amazing instructor, I loved his style of discussing the topics. After finishing the course, I now have a very clear idea about the data analysis process, the different kinds of tools and technologies related to it and the different kinds of jobs that data analysts can do. It's a very enlightening course.

The introduction to the data analysis process gives a context and fresh perspective to look at the problems in an organized manner. The brief videos by the experts at Google defining the roles in industry and discussing their struggles at the beginning of their career is very relatable to the initial struggles with the course and gives a confidence to move forward.

This course was great it touched on everyday data and also business data. I helps you to develop an analysis mindset and gives you tools and tips that will help you in your role as a data analyist. What I enjoyed the most is not only does the course focus on giving you the data but by incoperating diffrent learning styles its able to ensure the information sticks.

The way the course is structured it is so encouraging for one to keep on going. You always know which objectives are to be met in every part, you can tell if you have not met them even before the assessment. You can then go back watch the videos and read through again until you satisfied, which is the best way of learning. I love it, i am encouraged to do more.

It really helps me to open my eyes and mind. Good to be back and feel useful again, I know this is the first step and it was the best first step. In some weeks, I feel disoriented about the order the information was presented. Mainly in the first week, so in a way, that push me to put more attention. Great job with this course and excited to start the second one.

I'd like to thank the Google Team and Tony, our main instructor in the first course for the opportunity they provided for learning. The first course offers a fantastic overview of data analytics in general and briefly touches on all the subjects we will learn in-depth in the later modules. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and the subject is fascinating.

I have never been more hooked by a course as I was for this. This course is well structured; taught by a world-class tutor with easy-to-complex exercises. At first, I was overwhelmed by the course duration but I trusted the tutor's reason for making the course duration extensive. I really have got the headstart I needed to proceed to the next phase of the course.

The format, pace, and instructors are top notch!  There were plenty on UX features that made learning and navigating easy to do.  I really enjoyed the reflection work in the course, it was helpful to use my own words and experiences to solidify knowledge.  I also liked the hearing from the different Googlers who shared their personal data analytical experiences. 

This course is a great first step for me to become a data analyst. Content is designed well for beginners. Aims at developing a mindset and not just imparting knowledge. Its well paced and easy to understand with examples from our day to day life. Instructors are professionals and are experts of the field. I enjoyed this thoroughly. Thank you Coursera and Google.

This course is the first one of the 8 courses in this program to certify for being a data analyst.

It is at beginner level, learner's own pace and it is a very organized course.

It opens my mind to the data world with many insights, concepts, foundation of analyticals.

Now I move on to course #2, and my expectation of this program keeps building higher and higher!

Thank you so much. I've learned so much and am actually in the process of having a interview for a Cash Posting Specialist job where I will learn about Data Entry hands-on in thw work environment. I never thought I would be switching fields like this but this experience has been awesome. Hopefully one day i'll get to meet my instructors and thank them in person.
