I found this introduction course extremely helpful! It took me from 0 knowledge to an absolute novice, with very strong key points and concepts explained very well by the content and by the professors who ran the course. It was a pleasure learning you from, Toni! Anyone interested in Cybersecurity should look no further. This is the course you need to get started. It's set up to finish at your own pace in 4 weeks, but I blew through it with a 96.76% average, in just 2 days. If you have the time and motivation, get after it! You won't be disappointed!!

I hope that this certificate program will equip me with the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive change in my life by enhancing my understanding and ability to protect myself and others from cyber threats. With this knowledge I can implement effective security measures practice responsible online behavior and educate others on cybersecurity best practices. This course has given me the full understanding of the Cybersecurity profession, introduced me briefly to some of the tools Cybersecurity professionals use, and given me a clear knowledge of the roles of a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst. I have taken some entry level Cybersecurity courses prior to this one, but none has given me such in-depth knowledge of the field. I feel like I now have a solid foundation of Cybersecurity, just as the name suggests. I thank Google and the instructors for crafting out a masterpiece for Cybersecurity students.

Before starting this course, I thought cybersecurity was mainly about installing antivirus software and setting strong passwords. However, my understanding has evolved significantly. I now realize that it's a complex field involving various domains, controls, frameworks, and compliance measures. One interesting aspect I discovered is the importance of security information and event management (SIEM) for analyzing and responding to security incidents, which plays a crucial role in protecting organizations and individuals from cyber threats.

Les vidéos avec les employés de Google CLOUD sont en anglais mais le reste du programme est en français avec les tests et questions (quizz) en français. On apprend à son rythme avec des cours en ligne, des exercices, des labo interactifs. Il manque parfois des laboratoires comme google sait faire sur les qwicklabs ou sur les google skills boost mais c'est un cours généraliste pouvant s'appliquer à de nombreux domaines et préparant au test CompTIA

When I began the Foundations of Cybersecurity course, I was familiar with the term Cybersecurity and what it is. But, I didn't have in-depth knowledge about the sub-topics and tools used in Cybersecurity. Upon completion of this course, I can confidently say I have more knowledge now then I did before. I would recommend everyone who aims to get a career out of this course program, should 100% take it. Just do keep in mind, taking notes and reviewing what you study, really helps in keeping your knowledge from being forgotten.

This was a thurough introduction into the basics of cybersecurity and gives a decent comprehension of all the components in the area imo. Very broad strokes, but also fairly specific in terms and words and definitions. It's a lot to memorize and retain, but a moderately easy course to complete with zero skills or knowledge in the field. Best advice is to do a week whenever you do the work, it's easier to whip through and pass the tests with the info still fresh in your brain. I complete this course in under 3 weeks.

I have gain a lot of knowledge from this foundation course. It worth it, my thought on cybersecurity was just looking at the monitor and it seen boring. But, after taking this course I realized the job is an interest job it more than starring at the monitor, especially the eight domains. It made me feel that without me my company is not safe. The course really shape my knowledge and review about cybersecurity and urge to continue the rest of the course to gain more knowledge.
