This is actually a really great start for beginners in python. I am an intermediate python developer so for me it was too basic, but still a nice refresher for all the basics that we sometimes forget.

I had no experience at all in programming and I would say these things are also not really my strength. But the content and speed of the course is perfect for beginners. It was really fun!

Very good for understanding fundamentals. I am not sure if it is possible to explain it cleared, but I did not follow as well as other concepts classes and objects and their main purpose.

Course load ramped up dramatically for me around the 4 week mark. But overall this was an awesome experience. Definitely recommending this course to other people interested in this work.

It is an amazing course. I have tried to learn python a few times, and this course consolidated it through the first steps. I just feel it should have more pre-test practical exercises

The course was very informative and challenging for beginners, the exercises were almost complete, if we were allowed to write code from scratch it would have been better and helpful.

The course overall was great, it was not easy to grasp the concepts being new to programming.
The final project was hard but with determination and patience I managed to solve the code

There is a lot of vag information a little more detail would go a long way. I mean the examples were way more simplistic than the problems given to solve. Overall the course was good.

Very helpful in understanding basic concepts using small exercises and examples. Along with the study material, useful links and hyperlinks and save able documentation for reference.

Course material was really good. Working with Jupyter was a bit challenging. Needed multiple tries but the discussion forums were helpful to get rid of the common errors encountered.

Overall, the course and its materials are superb. Although they could make sure that the labs are more user friendly and the instructions in there are not overwhelming or confusing.

It is a good starting point for a newcomer and gives many good pointers for someone (like me) who has used Python before but is still trying to get use to the programming mindset.

although the overall course was great but there was some lack of explanation in fewer videos altough loved the trickiness of quizzes they really force you to think out of the box

I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. There were a few bugs scattered across the questions and assignments that put me off my stride, but overall very well put together.

Some bugs in the system made it very hard to complete a few assignments. spent more time figuring out workarounds than doing the assignments. Otherwise, I thought it was great.

Videos were helpful, and coursework was useful. Feedback from the mentors in the discussion forums is sorely lacking and rarely relevant.
A good primer to a first coding language.

Good course - not only for sys admins but also for prospective software engineers. Though, the course doesn't cover everything Python has to offer. I did miss lambda-functions.

I loved the course and contents. At times, it was hard to follow. I wish there were more examples and explanations on how certain things were done. All in all, I enjoyed it.

Course is very good. Sometimes the exercises are hard and you can get stuck but they encourage you to search for answers outside, which is kind of normal in your work-life.

Christine was fantastic. I've never seen a more enthusiastic lecturer.
4/5 because some of assignments could have been better explained and the workbook had technical issues

Some of those coding exercises are not as easy to follow as I would expect, also grading exercise file-loading process complicates things a bit.
Thank you Google/Coursera.

Thats great. It is being a very good journey along with Python. If there be included more small examples for explaining the different topics will increase more interest.

Really interesting exercises that applies to everyday problems, a little complicated sometimes for people that might get their first step in IT with some basic knowledges.

It's really basic, but well done for a crash course. I feel like some topics just go too fast, without enough pratice to fix stuff, but you can always rewatch the videos.
