Excellent instruction. The instructor provided very clear instructions to work along with the examples provided during the videos. I learned a lot! I've learned programming languages in the past, and the examples of R were very easy to pick up. I'm very excited and motivated to incorporate these skills into a much more fulfilling job!

The module for study R was very productive for me. I realized I love the method and application in using R. I had always questioned what "notebooks" were, how those creating visualizations were able to go a bit beyond the tools of Tableau to created unique shapes and backgrounds on their charts and dashboards. Now I do!

Comprehensive guide for beginner to learn R Programming.

There are links to a lot of readings, of which, recommend to make it mandatory, and to be included as part of the sylabus to improve the quality of candidate completing this course. Nevertheless, this will increase the time required to complete this certifications substantially.

Insightful, very well designed, the course clarifies key concepts and has a structured learning path. The course content also provides links to a bunch of great additional resources that can help you dig deeper and further your expertise. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in Data Analysis with R Programming.

A terrific course introducing us to R and its use in Data Analytics. I was a bit nervous about learning a new programming language but, the instructor and all involved provided a great and well organized course from the beginning to the end. Making the readings accessible to download as pdfs is a plus for future revisions. Thanks!

It was an interesting course where I learned the pretty interseting programming tool which is R, I am delighted that I took this course and completed it till the end, and would like to thank all instructors throughtout these courses for their efforts and their great way of implementing the information needed to be as data analyst.

It was interesting to follow with visible human teachers. Sally (Chinese American, I assume), the lady that taught most of the SQL is really great.

More of her and persons like her who make teaching very concrete.

Overall the course was worth it especially by demystifying R. I'm diving into R and Pythin after now with confidence

I liked the way R Programming was taught in the course. I'm from a non-tech background, and it is my first experience in coding. The course instructor effectively taught the course with examples and hands-on practical based lectures. It ignites my curiosity to learn more about R and other programming languages for data analytics.

This course is the most demanding of all the first seven courses in this Google Data Analytics course. The course is well structured to give participants an indept knowledge in R data analysis. I have personally gained so much fundamentals to R programming in general and experienced a practical data analysis with the R software.

Enjoyed the course & Challenges all through the course , I understand that this course is beginning of my journey into the fascinating world of data analysis. what all that i have learnt will only let me to understand and try solve the problem at hand.

This was my first experience with a programming language and I thought it might be very difficult for me to learn R but I am very glad of taking this course (Data Analysis with R Programming) for learning a programming language for the first time. This course set an example how the whole Google Data Analytics course should have looked like. Great delivery and skill of the lecturer. Long, quite demanding, well-thought. No bla bla, no opinions, no selling of Google products. I only wish that the Tableau and Big Query courses were equally good (the were not at all).

Probably the most challenging course of them all, but then again coding isn't easy. Rigorous course but I appreciate the depth that they went into for this one and the fact that they made this a separate course rather than shoehorning it into a different course, because coding isn't something you can just breeze over.

The previous courses was smooth and simple. However this course took more effort and a slower pace to truly understand what the code which was BRILLIANT. Having previous knowledge of Coding, it still took me a while to understand this different syntax that ws established for this particular language. LOVED IT 10/10 !

The Lecturer Carrie is sooooooo good. Thumbs up to her. She made the course enjoyable and she always has a smile on her face. I have never learnt any programming language before. R is the first and I must say I was scared at first but each module with Carrie was exciting and I was eager to continue learning more.

To me, a person with no previous background in Data Analysis, this is the best course in the certificate. It is the one that truly allowed me to see whether I had what it takes to become an analyst coming from a very different professional environment and not knowing about programming languages. Worth doing it.

This was the most challenging course in the Google Data Analytics certification. However, it was presented and structured in a way that helped with the learning process as every week built on the last week. A great yet challenging course. My new found skills will definitely improve my employability. Thank you.

The course is excellent, but some changes I would recommend are 1. Rather than showing the whole code in the 1st video, explain each and every step of how the whole code has been written(especially talking about the ggplot2). 2. Explain the R markdown in Week 5 properly as it is very difficult to understand.

The course has equipped me with the skills needed to apply to introductory-level data analyst jobs by providing me with skills in using RStudio for data importation, cleaning, organization, transformation and visualization. The course also taught me how to use R Markdown for documenting and sharing my work.

Completing "Data Analysis with R Programming" certificate course is the most significant step I have ever taken to learn computer programming and coding. The course was competently taught, The teacher often stepped aside, leaving the Hands-On-Exercises to take the learner through their paces. And it worked!

Instructor Carrie easy approach of breaking down the R programming building block with the lab exercise gives a strong foundation to learn data cleaning and R codes to write, reuse, analyze data, generate report all in RStudio is powerful and efficient. Thanks for the excellent presentation and instructor.

I can't believe I learned the fundamentals of programing in R in few weeks; the instructor, the hands-on exercises and the supporting material, including the amazing RStudio IDE desktop and cloud versions, were in sync to make my experience unique and less intimidating. Kudos to the Google-Coursera team!

Excellent course, getting to know R is amazing. Now I look forward to a second part of this course, there is still a lot to learn about it.
