The Skill of asking the right questions is usually very underrated and many people just overlook it. That's why I'm appreciative of google for teaching this core skill and making it super interesting.

Everything was perfect but some questions on the practice and graded quizzes were tricky. The answers conflicted from the point of view side so it might need a better explanation for the right answer.

Amazing introduction to spreadsheets and SOW! Overall, the course was super rich and helpful. If I can mention one thing that was kind of stressful was that assigment about the Lettuce Growth Days because the instructions were super confusing and it made me feel I was not prepared for the course. Other than that, I'm enjoying this journey so so much!!!

Well designed course covering technical as well as non-technical skills. Markedly more meaningful journal entries from the first course, well-designed course structure and the course challenge. Ximena was especially great as an instructor. But, being an engineer, I wish there were more challenging spreadsheet tasks to tackle than a ungraded Qwiklab.

This course was very insightful. I am not sure if it was me moving slowiy, but I am not sure the time frame of completing the the excel assignemnt may not have been enough time. Then again it could just be me, because I had to take the time to go back and forth to the directions. It would be nice if we could print them out to reference to as well.

The course content is great, with many informative videos and readings. The quizzes and assessments are also effective in assessing knowledge based on the concepts taught. However in my opinion, the course structure is messy, especially the sections about spreadsheet functions, formulas, dashboards, etc, which will be explained in future courses.

Very good, especially the spreadsheets, communication and data-driven decision parts. The only thing I didn't like is that when using remote desktop, I had a hard time switching my keyboard from Spanish to English and then finding the right keys to use Google Spreadsheets.

Ximena was a great teacher. Thanks Google and Coursera once again.

Awesome course ! I had a fun learning experience. Thank you. I would like to give you a suggestion in spreadsheet part. You had information on absolute and relative cell reference but it wasn't clear. I had to watch 4 to 5 YouTube videos to make it clear. I hope you add more information to it. Other than that it was a cool experience.

It is designed for perople with no experince. I also missed Excel tasks more complex than "write a formula to sum values in the column).

With regards to the soft skills - a lot of good things were told there, but it is really hard to make sure that you nailed them (I think that a multiple choice test is not a good solution for that)

While there was a lot of great information and instruction in this course, some of the information is no longer up to date and some of the SQL exercises embedded in the activities did not work as they were supposed to. Also, a lot of the hands on activities got very redundant, asking the same reflection questions over and over.

This very course helped me improve on my communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively and clear, also knowing how to ask strategic and well defined questions.

Also most importantly knowing how to make use of data to derive right solutions to every given problem, and understand the importance of team work. etc

Love the course. I am learning so much and the format is set up in such a way that makes even a new or seasoned learner able to follow the format. However, I found the discussion forums a bit confusing as to find the answer to a question that was posted a few days earlier. Other than this one issue I am loving the course!

some exercise were vague, They didn't have a clear goal they just throw you the template and send you to figure out what to do with it and you were not teach tecnically what to do with it or how to extract information to do it. (SOW Lettuce excersice) I may be wrong. If it is the case I would not mind an oppinion :D

I found the course very interesting. It provided many tools and points for discussion, encompassing not just basic technical skills as a refresher but also soft skills such as methods of questioning and working with others. Ximena the course instructor I found to be engaging and enthusiastic about the content.

The course was organized in an easy to understand format that covered the basics at an entry level to the field. The assignments would be more meaningful is a premise was provided rather than asking the student to develeop their own scenarios, since students should not be expected to be familiar with the field.

I personally learn more from hands-on experience. I think more simulations and raw data projects would be beneficial and facilitate better engagement overall. The information is repetitive with all the quizzes and review opportunities, which I feel is helpful in the long term. Great introductory course overall!

There was a lot of time spent on definitions with videos, I PERSONALLY (speaking for myself) prefer if it was much shorter with a glossary of terms and definitions rather than videos. I find that I can learn faster with text based information. The real-world examples from Google employees was AMAZING as always.

It is a great couse. However, sometimes I feel the conent over different weeks of the course are diconnected, espicially between the first week and the last weeks. And, I belive the first week need more conent to be developed to establish string foundations of how to asks goods questions to business users.

I get to learn the building block of my analysis career and that is asking, identifying whom to ask, identifying the problem type, smart measurable questions, and also professional communication and ethics which will help me in a behavioral interview not only that it helped to gain a on-job perspective.

The course is pretty good. The combination of videos, and reading material made the learning process very good. I would prefer to have more hands on with the database and spreadsheets earlier than it was in this course, as I have just finished the second set, and had very little spread sheet practice.

The course covers everything it attempts to. My only negative statement toward this course relates to the feeling that it is meant to be taught to a ninth grader. If so, it deserves a fifth star, but if it is meant for a college grad, it gets four stars because it dumbed things down a bit too much.

I have completed the second course in Data Analytics and it was fun. I enjoyed learning new things, and this course increased my curiosity to explore by asking effective questions. It would be more fun if the reading section include more sample questions and articles, and case studies for knowledge.

So far not many things are different from the 1st course. Too much talk, too many concepts to remember and not much practical stuff. Everything is like "imagine a situation where... what would yo do? what would you ask? what do you think about...?". I hope the next course finally gets more exciting.

Everything was explained very well and in a proper manner, but the course was more focused on theory and less on google sheets, quiz asked includes some questions that are not covered yet and explained later in course that makes learner either to presume the answer or to go back and forth.
