The course was very easily explained including all the minor details it's like a journey of powers system where you get to know about all the key elements required to have the knowledge in this field.

What an Extraordinary Course, I really appreciate meeting with such a skilled professor and a tutor too.
Though his main focus was on the USA and quiz were mainly focusing on the USA not globally.

Could have offered more challenges, critical thinking questions and calculations could be included. I find trivia questions could be omited, or kept if key factor is to encourage ideas for the future of power to the people. Other than that, was nice to rock back and watch. The professor does not instill confidence, would appreciate he speaks with "the professor who knows everything about the matter" flow. Not necessary to change.

Level of questions must be improved and number of question may be increased.
Old videos must be made up to date.
Some of questions options are not in correct order. I have seen "All of the above" option and "None of the above" option at the first option place or in the middle.
In the forum people discussing about the question and answer rather than topics, this should not be allowed without successful completion of course

Information was't properly arranged based on the sections and the titles. People having previous experiences on the items covered in these lectures will easily get over it but because of the lectures not being in proper manner, for those who don't have any previous ideas, won't do much good i guess. Anywway, Worked for me, Thanks to coursera. Thanks to Mr. Ilya Gringerg.

some of the course topics seemed to be more political and policy motivated than factually based. Also there seemed to be conflicting information on percentages of generation sources. Several of the photo examples of transformers and switches where in fact oil and SF6 circuit breakers and that could be very confusing to people with no exposure to this industry.

The course is informative but it is very old. The instructor also doesn't show any enthusiasm for the topic and just lists down the info as if he is reading. Lack of examples. Lack of specific details. the course is also very broad and doesn't explain why we use this and that or how each component work.

Very basic course.
And most of the time during the videos, the professor appeared talking, or random related images where shown, as if it was a powerpoint presentation.
Also, data about coal as an energy source to generate electricty in the United States, differed between week 1 and week 4

This course is really great for someone who has no knowledge in the field of electricity, power systems, and energy. The basic details have been mentioned. However, the way the lectures have been delivered is not very interesting or interactive and is very theoretical as a whole.

This course was informative but there are a few glitches in the assessments/quizzes where the correct answer is not accepted. Someone that manages this course needs to go look at the forums and pay attention to people who are having trouble with the same issues.

The course covers only the basics, and revolves around the data obtained from various authorities. It would have been much better if certain working process of devices in the protection switch gear part were explained in a little more detail.

Course presents very basic entry level material. Should be stated somewhere that this is a soft entrance to the field of EPS, suited more to managers or enthusiasts that are looking to be familiar with the terms used in the industry.

It needs to improve some concepts, for example "All renewable energies are sutainable", that is false if you are looking for biofuels, actually in Brasil the increment of the needs of corn are deforesting the AMAZONAS!!!!

Nice course for anyone who is not familiar with the topic. The information in video is outdated. Also some optional videos are unavailable and there is no interesting assignments for peer review.

It could have been more generalized as it is specific to USA but students belong to other countries. You could have asked more conceptual rather than value based questions in quizzes.

Kind of basic on the most fundamental theory behind energy systems: I understood beforehand the course was not intended for a technical specialization, tho.

The lectures need more correction in presentation and Instructor needs more friendly attitude in his face while teaching.

Content: 5 stars; Presentation: 2 stars => This course should be brought up to speed with "modern" ways of teaching
