This course provides a great introduction into what data science is and the type of work that data scientists do. I went into this course with no prior knowledge and came out of it feeling proficient and excited to learn more.

Murtaza Haider's readings were enjoyable and really struck a chord with me. It was relatable with my experience as a systems engineer and informative beyond the scope I was expecting. I look forward to completing more courses.

Pretty ok course. You'll be greeted with moderate workload that is paced brilliantly. The content is just, providing overview on what data science is and what you should be if you plan on pursuing a career out of its concept.

I was intimidated at first, but even for a beginner like me, I had a lot of fun. I appreciated a lot of different perspectives on who a data scientist is and it gave me hope that there is a place in this field for me as well!

I had my doubts prior to registering for this course in terms of complexity moreover the ease of learning hence this is my first data science course via coursera platform. very satisfied moreover it encourages to learn more.

It was a course for the people who doesn't have any idea what data science is and different fields of data science. Totally worth it, anyone who is new to the field of data science or business analytics must take this course.

A good introduction of what to expect in pursuing a career in Data science. Though no technical skills are really discussed, the course goes over the mindset and professionality of what being a data scientist really requires.

Good to understand about data science and data scientist role and responsibility what they do we the data and how they extract the information from data set, sometimes to find the hidden trend which add value to the business.

I found the videos and readings a great was to start the course. It gave some context around what data science is and what it takes to be a data scientist. I thought the video footage from the experts were particularly good.

It's always good to hear a definition of Data Science from professionals. Textbook definitions can always lead one astray. In this course we could at least get insight from professionals in the field. It was well explained.

this course makes me understand an overview of Data Science world and what Data Scientist do on their job. Certainly I also understand what's the importance of the data and how deliver it communicatively to the stakeholder.
