About the Course

This is the fifth course in the Google Data Analytics Certificate. In this course, you’ll explore what it means to actually analyze your data. You’ll take what you’ve learned up to this point and apply it to make sense of the data you’ve collected. You’ll learn how to organize and format your data using spreadsheets and SQL to help you look at and think about your data in different ways. You’ll also find out how to perform complex calculations with your data to address business objectives. You’ll learn how to use formulas, functions, and SQL queries as you conduct your analysis. Current Google data analysts will continue to instruct and provide you with hands-on ways to accomplish common data analyst tasks with the best tools and resources. Learners who complete this certificate program will be equipped to apply for introductory-level jobs as data analysts. No previous experience is necessary. By the end of this course, learners will: - Learn how to organize data for analysis. - Understand the processes for formatting and adjusting data. - Explore how to aggregate data in spreadsheets and by using SQL. - Use formulas and functions in spreadsheets to make data calculations. - Learn how to complete calculations using SQL queries....

Very good and useful practice of SQL. The JOIN party is pretty hardcore so I definitely couldn't master it but got enough of an understanding where I could learn quickly with some on the job training.

An excellent course for learning analysis techniques using Spreadsheets and SQL. Recommended for all engineering and data science students as well as for those managing businesses and human resource.

It was hard to follow up related to BigQuery videos, as syntax has not worked quite often and it took a lot of time to search for the correct syntax and error reason.

It was good, but I think the introductory course on questions was even better for problem-solving. this course focused on the technical skills which are also useful.

The course content was good and on-point as always but the instructor wasnt. She was sometimes too slow and then a bit too over-paced which wasnt reallly very helpful

Overall, a solid course but the most difficult parts (temporary tables) were rushed through too fast. Still, highly recommend this course and certificate in general.

Good but some vedeos were unclear on how to priceed to resolve practice events. Not a way to see proper syntax in BigQuery if you could not get it after much effort.

A great source of information for tools and approach to data analysis. May be more exercises about how to apply querys in SQL would make it even a better course.

This course is amazing and the instructor is amazing, but I was expecting to talk more about data calculations and how can we apply other advanced calculations.

The course is great.

The only reason why I don't give the 5 stars is because I think that the difficulty of the hands-on activities could be more challenging

Very technical, kudos to the instructor. She was a little fast though, had to re-watch videos more than twice some times. Good job overall. Thank you.

This is a great course. However, as a beginner of SQL it needs a whole lot of time. I look forward to going back and practising writing down queries.

Need to explain why you are using certain SQL functions, not what each function does, but why you decided to look a certain way or take that path.

This course was great I believe it needed more information on SQL, more complex to solidify the course but overall it was great. Thanks Coursera

SQL was tough! Pivot tables are tricky! Now I know - plan ahead, ask the right questions before using these tools. Thanks for the tough lesson.

Its a great course but it would be better for international students in my opinion if the explanation conducted more slowly and more comprehend

This course had a lot of great information. However, at times the instructor would go too fast when using SQL so it was difficult to follow.

Tough module therefore expected the method of lectures similar to Module 3 which could have made the understanding especially of SQL easier.

Very useful and the most important, but needs more practice and I think the instructor is so fast may be due to the too much information.

Give more examples for new beginners and maybe try to organize it better. Maybe a section just on spreadsheets and a section just on sql

The content is very scientific, but it needs an interactive training platform to work on the exercises, which are the core of the study

Most of the shared spreadsheets are not accessible on Google cloud. Every time I needed to download them to local machine to work upon.

esta muy bueno, muy bien explicado, pero creo que en lo laboral exigen cosas más complejas, como un if anidado en hojas de calculado

The course was so hard though the instructor tried to make it easier, but the content requires one to do a lot of practice to grasp.

The instructor gave us really good content. But I hope she could instruct more slowly with some complicating parts ( SQL queries)
