The course is very useful and interesting since it covers topics related to data integrity and data-cleaning, the tools and processes used for this purpose whether related to SQL or spreadsheets. Also, the course covers the importance of connecting business objectives to data analysis and data-cleaning. Least and not last, the course covers issues related to clean and dirty data, in addition to documenting the data-cleaning processes

This course focus on the data cleaning process, which is taught by Sally. I especially like the way she delivers every lesson, as it is enthusiastic and understandable to me. The content is straight to the point, with a balanced mixed between theoretical and practical materials. Overall, I learnt a lot from this course. Thanks Google and Coursera for offering this course here with a reasonable price. Please keep up your good work!

Albeit I am yet to fully grasp the less frequently used SQL query statements, this program has been great so far and if I have to recommend a data analysis learning programme, it most definitely is this course! Can you imagine a programme that even guides you through Resume building and what you should and should not include?... beautiful indeed. Thank you to all the instructors so far. Lots of information to learn. I feel like this course organized the important tools we need to know for each section. Lots of terminology heavy words that also have a function and each one is emphasized during examples. It was very difficult for me this course was way more technical than the previous courses because of it intersects with statistical thinking despite there being no math. I found this course very challenging.

The course explained all the concepts related to data cleaning and skills needed to do it. The instructer was very energetic and was able to drive home all the topics that were discussed. The best thing about the course was that it offers scenerios where you imagine yourself in the shoes of an analyst and do various jobs. The hand-on activities were also very engaging and an excellent resource to practice the skills.

It was an enjoyable course, instructor was great - an ever smiling face and in a way took a lot of pressure off from my shoulders w.r.t. not knowing SQL much. Lots of examples for SQL and Spreadsheets. Overall, a great experience. I also loved the part of guilding us on resumes, including suggested playlists on YouTube w.r.t. interview questions, Kaggle etc. Thank you Sally, Measurement & Analytical Lead :) :) :)

This course is structured really well, especially for those who have no background in data cleaning and processing. Even though I've been self-studying SQL, I've also learned some new functions from this course. I also appreciate how the instructor relays the lessons clearly and straightforwardly. This course could be one of my favorites, so far. I learned a lot of new things!

The Process data from dirty to clean Coursera course is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to improve their data cleaning skills. I found the course to be both challenging and enjoyable, and I attribute much of that to our instructor. Their supportive and encouraging attitude kept me motivated to push through the difficult parts. This course was great with explaining the process of cleaning data and I enjoyed the content; including the hands-on experience working with BigQuery sandbox. I chose not to sign up for a free trial, so I did not have the ability to update data in BigQuery, but was still able to follow along. I think I learned what was expected from this course and I enjoyed the instructor's pace. Thank you.

Pertaining to a quiz question "You decide to use a spreadsheet function to divide the text strings in Column G around the commas and put each fragment into a new, separate cell. You are using the SPLIT function."

The answer assumes your using google sheets, SPLIT is a function within the GSheet enviroment, however in excel its a tool, not a function so this True/False question can go either way.

Sally is one of the best instructors. Professional and also authentic style to engage students watching videos. For what was a lot of detailed information, her speech, intonation and hand gestures, combined with her personality made her credible and likable. So many people in videos are so monotoned, I find it hard to stay engaged. Great job also with encouraging students. Not fake “cheering on.”

So far, processing data from dirty to clean is the course that has taken me to experiencing what becoming a data analyst might be truly like by getting to learn, try out and practice functions in spreadsheets and SQL. I would highly recommend this course to those who, like me, knew very little about it and were somewhat afraid of trying. Plus, the course instructor is an absolute star. Thank you.

Great course with some excellent content as well. I enjoyed the practical examples more. All this helped with my overall undersatanding of the course material and te subject matter overall. With some more practice on the material presented and the applicable resources, I am sure that if I keep practicing I will be able to polish my skills in this world of data analytics which is rather new to me.

Another great course in data analyst series. Course content is great covering spreading sheets and SQL for cleaning data and making it ready for futher action. The best thing in this course was that a complete week was dedicated to resume building which might be boring for some but for many its great to have. I would higly recommend this course to all who want to become data analyst in future.

Although there were too much to learn in just one course and I had to keep in mind all of them, but the instructor was so good and talking so awsome that I could catch up with her and understand all the words. I did not need to replay the videos again and again like the last course that the instructor was so fast and talking in a way that I had to replay all the videos at least one more time!

This course is excellent in providing an overview of common spreadsheet functions used in data processing. It also takes a deeper look into cleaning and processing data with SQL using common statements and syntax. In just a few short weeks you can really start to gain traction as a data analyst. The course instructor is very knowledgeable and presents the information clearly! Great experience!

This course is amazing if you want to learn about data cleaning in general. You will learn a lot of pre-cleaning and cleaning techniques using spreadsheets and SQL , also you will know how to verify and report the integrity of your data. Additionally, it contains very good tips to improve the way your information is showing in your resume or build one if you do not have one. 100% recommended.

Really well designed course. Very valuable material especially the SQL part. Adding the resume & job search section was the cherry on top. It's very thoughtful of the course designers to include that section in this course, it has very useful information & it makes learners feel they have a better picture of what to expect & how to navigate after finishing this program. I love the instructor of this course. She spoke a good speed, clearly and with a lot of enthusiasm. She was always very energetic and happy in every video. I wish she will give more courses.

Also I like the sql and spreadsheets formulas I learned to make cleaning data verfy easy. Some of this option i didn't know so it was great that it was explain and show how you can use them.

The course was simplified, interactive and fun. As a non data analyst looking into career change, I think I will really love a career in data cleaning. Sally did a fantastic job of making the entire course interesting, sharing the challenges that she faced when she started out served as an encouragement to me especially when I was having difficulty with SQL.
