The course was great. I do think the first question of the final assignment could use a little clarity. I wasn't aware that it was looking for an answer specific to the chart until after I submitted it. From the peer reviews I did, I'm not the only one who had this misconception. I do feel that I learned a great deal and would highly recommend this course!

This course is actually really good. the ibm team has revised and packaged the material from course 1 to 3 in the Data Science Cert into a single course. It is structured much better than the other three courses and the content is more up to date. The content is also better explained compared to courses in Data Science Cert, which was really bad.

It was a very interesting course. I did know anything about Data Analytics before to start this course. I strongly think that the knowledge shared by IMB was very accurate and clear! So I learned a lot and now I have a better understand of whole the process of Data Analytics. I'm very happy to have completed this first part of the course!

a lot of knowledge gained int this course however i think its too much info for introduction and the detail is a bit excessive. Moreover, material are too wordy thus causes confusion. I don't think peer to peer review is fair and there's no way of asking for a support from the syllabus team as in other courses. I hope this can be improved

FANTASTIC COURSE!! I learned so much and the layout is perfect! I really am excited to learn more! The only problem I had was with the final peer graded assignments. My peer falsely graded my assignment and it effected my final assignment grade by 30%. I also cannot report the issue or challenge it. If I could then this would be 5 stars!

It was an amazing brain storming course for beginners who are interested to pursue their career in data analytics and gives a brief overview of what we have to learn and enhance our skills in to become a better data analyst and it also gives us the various insights to different analytical jobs and entry opportunities

Great course to understand what data analytics is about, what it is used for, and steps to become a data analyst. The videos with closed captions were great and the quizzes were pretty challenging, I earned my 90%. I recommend it to those that might be interested in this field because it will be around for a while.

Overall it was good. I wish that it went more in depth with some stuff but being that it is just an introduction it was ok. Also, I don't know why the course material is broken up in to Week 1, Week 2, etc instead of Module 1, Module 2, and so on. I completed the course in 4 days at only a couple of hours each day.

As the course states this is an introduction to data analytics. It goes over what types of data analytics there are, what tools are used, and more general information regarding data analytics. It also has data analysts share with you their experience and advice for people starting a career in data analytics.

Surely, a good course that takes you from the very basics. One thing that bothered me a little was the overuse of the word analysis lot (I know it is an analytics course! but still) and a lot of names of the software with relatively less briefing on them. Hope they have clarified it in the upcoming courses

Good Course for a beginner but i expected it to have more readings and additional info about the tools explained, also I'm not a fan of the way of teaching on the screen, I guess face-to-face explanations would be more engaging and productive, but besides that the content is quite good and well explained

The translator used perfect English. The course is easy to understand especially for a beginner like myself. It is a great way to explore your interest in data analyst. By the time you are through with this course you will be certain wether you want to choose a career in data analytics or something else.

It is a good start, but a little bit too general. There are a lot of terms I have to google to understand how it looks - I wish it won't be just pictures but actual examples of some topics we were told about. (not just on words)

I really like the final practical assessment. Wish it has more on each topic

Well written and presented, every topic flowed into the next with small reviews of previous lessons. Gave a great understanding of the field and all its aspects. However I did find it very info heavy. Felt like a information dump on my brain. Endless notes were taken but in the end it is all useful.

it is good course and please don't skip it thinking that it is all theoretical and boring but believe me it will surely help you understand different terminologies that are used in the language of a Data Analyst, and also various tools/platforms that are currently playing their role in market.

Generally a good introduction. The strong focus on career paths and job opportunities is certainly a plus for new starters, for someone taking the course out of interest it is a bit of a drag. I thought the final examination was formulated a bit careless, but overall a good introduction.

I had a slow start on this course due to some other committments I could not get out of, as a result the initial course material I could not easily take in because of the rush rush in trying to catch up. I have now settled into a rhythym and I believe much better things are still to come.

Good course providing an overview of the different jobs and specializations of the Data Analytics field.

Also hints toward some of the technical skills, tools/software and soft skills required. A great place to start, a bit lengthy if you already have a foot in or some knowledge about it.

Before starting this course, I had little to no clue about data analysis, this course gave me a huge knowledge of what data analytics is about. Now I can relate to some data terminologies and I'm more conscious about data and its effect. Thank you, IBM and Cousera for this course.

It is a good course indeed. It is just a bit boring and superficial, because of the "lazy" assignments. The technical phrases are sometimes hard to understand, and the video layout is highly appealing but the contents are a bit confusing and limited (at least for a beginner).

As this course is an introduction, it is very fact based. While there are several videos bringing in real people from the profession, there are also several videos just delivering the facts. They do a good job at hitting all the important points but can at times be boring.

The course was good and straight forward. The issue with Peer Reviewed final grades, is many people don't understand the vagaries of the English language, making the sharing of thoughts from multiple viewpoints potentially detrimental to an individual's score in a class.

As I had already done much of this course in my job, I didn't find too many things new-to-me. I found it hard to concentrate at times as much of the information was repetetive, however, if I had no experience at all, this would have been a very good first introduction.

Great course all in all. Definitely a great theoretical dive into the world of Data Analytics and all it's different layers. The only thing missing, for me, was an exercise where we could actually use SQL for a simple task. A first brief contact with querying language.
