The course was designed well with clear instructional videos and presentation slides. The content breaks down theoretical details with real world examples, making it easy to relate. I learned a lot more about COVID-19 and what it takes to become a good contact tracer.

This was a wonderful, comprehensive tutorial explaining the important role of a contact tracer. Dr. Gurley's presentation was easy to follow and listen to. I learned a lot and am excited to begin. I recruited all my friends and even my family and we are eager to help.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The slides were detailed and I was able to reflect and learn in detail about COVID-19, a pandemic that has engulfed the world. I must thanks Ms. Emily Gurley for conducting the course extremely well. Thank you Coursera and Ms. Gurley.

I give this course an A+++ the easy to follow and understand material was the best at gaining knowledge about the Sars 2 Covid 19 disease. Thank you Professor Gurely your tone pace and voice inflections were spot on and even made it very easy to listen to the content.

This course was helpful in describing the origins of the disease, the symptoms, methods of transmission, isolation vs. quarantine, difficulties in both and individualizing data acquisition. It is also an excellent communications course. All in all, very worthwhile.

I enjoyed learning from the walk-through scenarios with Contact Tracers. It's vitally important to show that sympathy towards others to help stop the spread. I really understood how I play a part in my own life to help mitigate the spread and educate those around me.

I learned information that is beneficial to help contact tracing. It was very well explained and I enjoyed learning the proper way of talking to contacts and cases. I am glad I took this course to help me better understand and help with the spread of Covid -19 virus.

Emily Gurley was able to deliver the objectives of the course in an easy to follow manner. Adequate samples on a situational basis were presented using vignettes. It also increased my awareness of the different protocols in assessing the situation of case or contact.

Easy to follow along. Broken up in the manageable sections. Speaker was clear and used simply language a non-medical professional can understand. The example call videos were helpful to demonstrate good and bad calls. Quizzes were brief and evaluated the key points.

Very good visual aids and speaker speed. Thoroughly enjoyed learning about the truth and this virus.

Happy to have this knowledge under my belt. Happy I was able to take the course without a cost as I lost my job a few weeks ago. Thanks a million for the opportunity.

Great course. However, It would be great if Johns Hopkins would have also outlined the symptoms for lack of oxygenation in people of color. Darker skinned people do not get bluish gray lips. It would be helpful to know the symptoms for all - not just white people.

Thank you for a comprehensive and detailed account of contact tracing. This covers the basics as well as the complexities that we encounter when doing contact tracing. This was well laid out and presented with timely examples as well as historical perspective of use.

The PowerPoint presentations werre very educational and easy to undersstand. Some of the final exam questions were a little tricky, so make sure you study before taking the test.

The course was great. It was easy to follow and i learn new things about communication.

The best part was the the patience ( you can hear it in her voice) ,knowledge and expertise of the professor. The lessons are well prepared, organized , clear and easy to follow.

This was an excellent course. The material was communicated in a manner that retention was easier. I thought I would have to refer back to my notes, but the short assessments in between the sections made it possible to connect the information in an effective manner.

What a great course! Such important information. The design of the course was exceptional; clarity of content layout, the modules and evaluations, access to materials and evaluations plus the audio file transcripts and access to the presentations. And so very useful!

The content , syllabus was covered in a very good manner. The short quiz after videos is the thing which i liked the most . The non verbal expressions in the videos are very communicating about the situation. According , to me this is a 5 star coverage of the course.
