Had a great time and a lot of fun doing this class, it was a pleasure to be taught by Charles Severance as he was able to keep my attention all throughout the course even on basic and boring topics that I know had I studied myself would not have focused on.

This is very suitable to beginners who do not have any foundation of neither python nor programming. Having none relative knowledge I can still pass it within few weeks. The course is excellent! Highly recommend to those who want to starting learing Python.

I would say; I was a non-programmer till I enrolled my self in this course. After completing the exercises; I am now a confidant beginner. Now I can start my journey in Python in my area of specialization which is Open stack and Software Defined Networking.

The course help me dust up my memory on python. It helped me strengthen my foundations. The instructor has a special way of connecting with students. It was indeed surprising as he managed to pull this off even though the entire thing was completely online.

Very good and clear explanations. The exercises were kind of simple, but mostly effective and graded in a way in which one could see where their errors were. The instructor was also very good and helped the course be very interesting and not at all tedious.

I've taken other basic python classes but this particular one was very informative and engaging. The instructor, Dr. Chuck, is knowledgeable about the subject and conveys information in a way where learners easily understand (even without prior background).

I really enjoyed taking this course. I've been meaning to learn Python and this was a well-pace course that taught me the fundamentals of programming with Python. The materials were organized and thorough, and I was able to take it while I worked full-time.

I really like the way that Mr. Severance teaches and I will be looking for more courses that are taught by him so that I may take them and gain the knowledge that he is giving. I appreciate everything that he has done to make learning Python easier for me.

The course is fantastic. Dr. Chuck is fantastic. The only issue I have with this course is if there were a more assignments on every type of code being taught , I think it would have been more easy for me to understand it.

It was quite good and informative yet interesting. The whole course was good and the quiz were very interesting too . the assignments were quite challenging and so far the overall experience was quite interesting I would really suggest you to go through it.

I have struggled for a few years to begin understanding coding on different platforms. This course has laid a foundation that was easy to follow and to understand. I didn't think it was possible to learn this but I did and it was both fun and enjoyable!!!!!

This was a great class to get introduced to Coursera. The subject matter was pretty basic but was taught in a fun way that still made it very engaging and interesting. The format of the exercises and the quizzes and especially the bonus materials was great.

Class is amazing for a beginner. Each chapter builds successive skills. I'm enrolling in the follow-on course immediately. The video lectures really contributed to my understanding of the material - and as a bonus, they're actually enjoyable and engaging.
