Overall it was okay, but...

There were a few pieces of information that were factually incorrect in bizarre ways, like the claim that JavaScript is case-insensitive, or that interpreted languages are only for small scripted tasks and not for building applications. Did they copy that out of a textbook from 1995?

Many of the quiz and test questions were fixated on the exact wording of arbitrary sentences in the course material rather than on the concepts and facts. One of those exact-wording questions even got the exact wording wrong.

This course did not make me want to continue with the rest of the program it's a part of.

Negatives: - This course is not fully compatible with the Edge's "Read aloud" option due to a few error messages & bugs. - Quizes don't show correct answers. - Some of the modules had spelling errors. - The videos don't have the Full Screen toggle option. - Learning how to code in 11 computer languages is unnecessary & needs to be removed or changed. - Lab software has a bunch of bugs and needs to be fixed. Positives: The course has a lot of valuable information to learn. The videos were informative without being lengthy. The quiz questions covered the course content.

The learning modalities could be updated to be more interactive. The Powerpoints could be more dynamic in their presentation with more pictures and examples representative of real world situations. Also have consistently to listen to and watch the same kind of Powerpoint makes it hard to stay engaged. The notes feature felt more like a bookmark than notes. The content made sense and the quizzes worked with them well, just the delivery of the content needed more. I appreciated chances to work with the actual programming tools during some of the modules.

The learning videos are not really motivating to watch and the some of the quiz don't use the same terminology. For someone who isn't native in english it's sometimes difficult to select the right answers.

It was good to get started with the key elements of software engineering, but it would have been helpful to get a better overview of all key elements to guide through the course

It dives into the foundation only and introduces you to the basics terms for everything that you might use or not. Overall, its just simple and basic

Good, but it should have been a pure technical course, since nobody will be able to start working as a SW Engineer based on this course only.

The content was decent, but the questions were too open ended. Many companies do things differently than what the "correct" answer was

It was an interesting introduction. There was quite a lot of technical jargon used, though, that wasn't explained sometimes.

As a beginner I found that there is a huge amount of information and it was presented in a fast paced manner
