It is a basic course for you to start, but it is very useful and you really get a big picture of PM. The Lecturer and guests on this course are very good with great communication skills (of course what else, they are project and program managers at Google :) ). I would really recommend this course to anyone, even if you do not see yourself as a PM, because it is useful also in everyday life.

I loved my introduction to project management. I suppose the most unexpected thing was learning that I already knew much of what instructors taught through the course. It was nice to see my previous experience has not been for naught. And even more comforting to finally find a career goal that neatly packs all of my experience into a solid career path. I am even more excited about my future.

Although I personally do not want to pursue Project Management, I want to upskill my knowledge and performance on this field to further grow in my current role as a senior data analyst. I believe this course is a great learning opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds.

This course was extremely insightful and helpful in launching my career direction into a project management, specifically in design. As a designer, a ton of these principles are baked into the everyday work of a creative professional, and the information helped me to tease out all the management skills I had developed over the years. I am super excited to continue this certificate program.

I took this course at another institution and I have to say I learned more from Coursera's Google Foundations of Project Management course. This course was easy to understand and the examples were on point with what was being taught. I am so happy I decided to take this course. Thank you Google for the opportunity to learn from the employees at your organization. On to the next course.

I'm a project/PMO Leader with 20+ years experience. I did this course because I was trying to find a new training approach for new starters in my team. Great course, well explained. I especially like the focus on culture and org design. I also like the process agnostic approach - too many new PMs only believe there is one 'right way' that they learned on a Scrum-Master or Prince2 course.

A "Watterfall" of knowledge, this course is extemelly very well developed, with a suitability and integrity of a universe of industries, corporations and organizations.
A breath of fresh pinewood forest air in the educational landscape.

This is a great course. It provides better understanding of Project Management concepts and helps better understand the PM profession. The course is easy and interesting to navigate and easy to follow. I have finished it in 4 days, spending 2-3 hours a day. I recoment it to those who are looking for PM specialization or simply want to better understand Project Management Specialization.

Informative, thorough and masterfully crafted to cover every corner of the first steps in the world of Project Management. It is rich of exercises and interviews with professionals to provide the best insight over this world. A must- study for everybody, even those not interested in becoming project managers, as the skills being taught are really horizontal and useful to any profession.

Hi, I have took the 1st course of my project management. And I found very informative and usefull. Every thing in the course was well organised and explained. It would be also good to provide a cheatsheet summarising all of the information provided throughout the course (i.e. after the course is completed by the individual) in addition to the Gloassary. Kind regards, Hossein Afshari

The course is closer to Agile and its practices so it gives a very general overview of the basics of project management and doesn't dive in too deep on the traditional project management and its practices.
But this is a good course with great insights by people who are actually doing the work and in the field, and it's especially useful for people who want to work in project management.

This course was informative and gave very good insights about Project Management, Project Managers, the Skills of a Project Manager, different styles, Organisational culture, etc. It gave me a good, very good foundation to become as a Project Management in the future. The course was much interesting and engaging, and so I completed this course in a continuous streak, less than a week.

The course was great! I learned a great deal. The activities really brought the courses to life in the real world. I enjoyed doing the activities based on reality. It was very interesting to grade other student and observe how they handled the same tasks differently. I don't; however, find the CareerCircle and Google Job Platform helpful. No jobs have been sent my way. Dissapointing.

This course was interactive. Explained the main concepts well without unnecessary clutter. The timing of the knowledge questions and quizzes was helpful for the learner. The questions asked on the quizzes were relevant to build knowledge. The speakers were all engaging. I found the course to be an appropriate length. I found the price of the course to be fair and accessible for many.

I really liked this course. I had a lot going on for this course and had to push out my end date but I really appreciate the reminder emails as well to why I started this journey in the first place. The material was helpful and the videos help me to understand more as I am a visual learning. The knowledge checks and quizzes help to make sure I am understanding the material correctly.

I really want to learn Project Management for this had taken a couple of courses else where always online, and they were messy and without a logical pace, and I gave this course a shot because a friend of mine sent me the info in social media. I tried it without enthusiasm. Furthermore, I have to say, I'm thrilled to be able to learn more and get my certificate, and hopefully a job.

I thought it was well put together and reviewed topics that haven't been taught in other beginner courses I've taken. Our guide was interesting to listen to and spoke well. It was nice to watch videos from a variety of people that work for Google in various roles. It gave a sense of how many opportunities for Project Management are out there, many in places you wouldn't think of.

I really enjoyed this course! It was a lot of information, but the presentation of the learning material made it easy to digest. It was not overwhelming, and I appreciated that everything was introduced in a way that catered to all learning types. Some reading, some videos, and interactive components as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in project management.

Throughout this learning process, I found it unexpectedly surprising how integral effective communication and stakeholder management are in the role of a project manager. Beyond just the technical aspects of managing tasks and timelines, the human element and the ability to collaborate, motivate, and lead teams towards a common goal stand out as crucial factors for project success.

I have been in the non-profit workforce for almost 30 years and I learned a lot during this course about the role of project management. It made me reflect on my organization, our leadership structure, how decisions are made. The course was also validating for the work that I do. I feel like I am going to learn different tools and skills that can enhance what I am already doing.
