Thanks Meta for a very comprehensive course.
Not only are fundamental computer science topics taught, but the job-ready skills needed for Python by covering it in breadth, but also depth.

Great course. Covers a range of topics. Some nice interesting assignments. However, some background/auxiliary concepts are just not needed and are just there to confuse and muddle the learner. For example, algorithms, big O notation, popular Python libraries, and Testing . These concepts are not needed when beginner python syntax is the focus of this course and what the learners are actually interested in. Worse is that these concepts are to be memorized and not to be skipped over since they are part of the graded quizzes.

This course is much deeper and more difficult than a normal beginner-level course in Python. It is more like an intermediate to an advanced course in Python, but its coding exercise is elementary level. It covers a wide range of advanced topics, which can be helpful for developers. Many concepts are quite abstract and do not have sufficient materials. The video also does not have much explanation as well. If you want to have more coding practice, please consider other courses.

The course helped me to better understand some concepts of Python. Not being new to the language, I sometimes found that foundational concepts were not always covered in big enough detail, so that complete beginners may find this course somewhat challenging. Overall this is a good course to start with Python, especially if you already are somewhat familiar with programming concepts.

some material is needed to be improved , some details would make it much better , explanations should be in simple and more intuitive words , concepts should be improved in a way to distinguish the more specific and general paradigms it often confuses when it goes with the assignments, code practices should be more in a way to empower a learner to explore things on his own behalf.

The course was generally good. It featured quality content and thorough coverage. My main critique lies with the delivery; the instructor's robotic demeanor and repetitive gestures, seemingly reading off a teleprompter without changing position, detracted from the experience. A more natural, unscripted approach to the lectures would have greatly enhanced my enjoyment.

Pros: Provides solid instructions on the different concepts & rules surrounding the Python language. Cons: Didn't really feel like I applied my coding skills enough to make me feel confident in my abilities as a Python programming student. Felt like there needed to be more exercises in order to increase our familiarity with the concepts we're working with.

A good course, that covers everything about python from basic to intermediate level. But every topic is explained very quickly, so additional resources should definitely be used to cover up the gaps. Some questions are ambiguous, and some answers are outright wrong in some assessments. Overall it is a good resource to learn Python.

5 stars are for perfection, thats why I cant give this a 5 stars. Overall its a well structured, well developed course, with short videos and good references. Only that I think the sources are not very academic in nature. All the info is taken from web articles which can have errors and can be a little to informal in language.

I loved this course! I DO think that the mini-quizzes in the videos could be improved. I feel like defining concepts is much less important than, for example, a multiple choice asking which ways would be the correct way to code. Other than that, I feel I learned a lot!

This course is wonderful to build basic of Python which helped to learn theory and lab practice. However, Week 3 and Week 4 is bit tough to complete within two weeks. Lectures and course materials was sufficient. Course instructor was very good.

comprehensive content -
great exercises
I still need to go over all of it again to set intermediate level Python programming skillset.
This is the best online Python programming course I've taken yet.

Eu gostei muito desse curso. Contudo achei os exercícios práticos de escrita de código bem difíceis, no qual ficou bastante desafiador terminar essas atividades, mas o curso como um todo é muito bom

It is a basic, mostly theory-based course with few assignments which are easy. If you are a beginner it is a ok course. If you are an intermediate, you could find it a little bit boring.

Assignments were extremely good and effective, Just the documentation of the problems need to be reviewed as its creates a confusion.
Would recommend it for great learning experience.

I'd say that they need to add more exercises. Overall, they've explained all about Python very well.
