So easy to follow along step by step! Very helpful to see how to go from Atom to Terminal and the pacing was very appropriate for complete beginners. Seeing some of the exercises worked out was super helpful in debugging my code.

I learnt a lot in this program including how to write simple python programs and how to simplify my codes during the progress. I strongly recommends this course for python programing starters who have little acknowledgement of it.

I thought the instructor was very helpful. I took a C++ class at a different college and the course material was outdated and hard to understand. The instructor gave good examples and explained everything in a way that made sense.

IT's a 0 level course of python that literally teaches you from the scratch and if you know nothing about python like me 🤦♂️😑 then this course is best for you.

Course taught in detail. This course is great for beginners; it does not cover too much knowledge but thoroughly lays the groundwork for future study.

Professor Severance is funny and explains lectures clearly.

Great introduction to programming, or a fun review of programming topics. It is not "in-depth", but as an introductory class, it isn't supposed to be. The instructor is fun and relatable, and does a good job explaining the topics.

It was a nice course, but i think it might be a bit difficult for students in terms ofr loop statement and 'if' statement if someone does not have any background. It was necessary to put additional efforts to practice. Still was a

I loved this course! I was a little familiar with some of the concepts before, but Mr. Severance's commentary helped answer some of the questions I had about it. I have a much more solid foundation and understanding than before.

Excellent for beginners. You don't need any experience at all just access to a relatively new computer and the internet.

Dr. Severance is a great teacher and the Coursera structure of the course is great for low maintenance study.

For an ordinary person who is trying to learn the python programming language this course actually describes at very basic level and easy to understand. The assignments in this course really motivates me as a beginner in python .

Best course on python I have done (and I've done a few). Dr. Chuck is the first instructor who I found that actually went over everything without jumping from topic to topic and assuming you had any prior experience or knowledge.

It's a great course for beginners! The teacher gives you everything you need to take your first steps in programming no matter if you've never coded before. And it's a good course if you've forget things that you learnt time ago.
