I am a fan of Dr. Gurley’s teaching style . I like how she talks at an appropriate speed and pauses. It helps you stay with the course and to be able to take in a lot of information in a short period of time . I appreciate the real life examples and vignettes to see the best ways to manage the different scenarios I will encounter.

Clear, informative, good chunking of information, and easy to digest and retain the information. Practice quizzes after each section highlighted important learning points and helps retain them. While I am not going to become a contact tracer, the learnings are beneficial nevertheless. I would highly recommend this Coursera course.

This is an excellent course that really communicates the essential parts of contact tracing. It is clear and presented in a common sense way. I was able to understand the basic rationale of this part of the public health response to Covid-19. It was also reassuring to learn about strategies for dealing with challenging situations.

I wa so thankful for the opportunity to learn more about COVID-19. I was able to understand better about the time frame of COVID once you have symptoms what to do. How to quarantine and how to isolation yourself from others so you won’t make them sick. Also how to communicate with a client if they have tested positive for COVID.

It was very informative and the professor was great. i am sure if I will be working as a Contact Tracer but taking and finishing this class gives me the confidence that i could in that profession. I am a case manager and nurse all the information that I have taken from this just re inforces what I have been doing. I also have taken a course for Cancer registery which tracks the patient from the time they are diagnosed thru the treatment follow ups and hopefully ecovery. You are getting information for the CDC and research

This was a great course! I learned so much about the SARS- COVID-19 virus as well as many ways to talk with people over the phone. In general as well as in difficult situations. Not as in 'public speaking' because these people are ill or potentially ill and scared. That alone, is a great learning experience. Thank you very much!

Very thorough course, with simple but detailed clarifications - it was at time a bit monotonous with the video examples, more people could have been helpful to keep it fresh BUT that does not at all take away from the effectiveness and each video was still clear and detailed and the actors were good. A good comprehensive course.

Very informative course with quizzes to help test your knowledge throughout. The presenter did a good job of reviewing information that was covered before to help reinforce the learning and make sure that you are able to grasp the important concepts of the course. The video examples of example calls were very informative also.

This was a great course. The material was presented very well. If you are taking care of COVID-19 patients, I suggest taking this course so that you have a clear cut understanding of contact tracing. It will help you educate your patients about what they can expect to be asked when the local health department contacts them.

This was a very informative and thorough course on COVID-19 Contact Tracing course. Dr. Emily Gurley did a fantastic job conveying a lot of information in a simple manner. Wow it was an amazing practice experience for COVID-19 Tracing. Though it was somehow difficult in some modules but most easy for me as my specialty is ID and IPAC.
