While I think the course content was excellent and I had to give only 4 stars because the presentation of the material wasn't as polished as it could have been. For example, in one case there was an video issue where Dr. White's image was blurred; this must have been a video recording parameter which was corrected. But instead of re-recording the segment, it was presented as is. On several occasions he forgot to put his mike on his shirt so the audio was a little difficult to understand. Again, instead of re-recording the segment, it was presented as is. In my experience when there are rough edges in one area, there are issues other areas too which leads to having less confidence in the overall product. I'll put it another way, as a manager I would not have let those easily corrected flaws go out of my shop because they are easily fixed and the overall impression it gives that it isn't important. In whole, I learned a lot and this experience won't stop me from considering other courses by Dr. White and Coursera.

I recently enrolled in a course on Coursera, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. The content is not only engaging but also highly informative. The instructors are experts in their field, and their passion for the subject matter shines through in their teaching. The course structure is well-organized, making it easy to follow and learn at my own pace. What I appreciate the most is the flexibility it offers. I can balance my work and personal life while still making progress in the course. The interactive quizzes and assignments keep me motivated and help reinforce what I've learned. In just a short time, I've gained valuable knowledge and skills that are already proving beneficial in my career. This course is fantastic. It is the perfect introduction to the Prompt engineering and provides adequate details to let a student understand the basic concepts well. However, it would have been wonderful if the graded assignments were more in number and in context. Due to the enormity of the topics discussed, it was difficult to get adequate practice in independently creating prompts that would satisfy all the criteria and tools we learn about. Smaller, bite sized questions spread across the course material would have been useful to test what we learned while we kept moving towards a larger goal. Some practical scenarios for prompts should also be incorporated in the graded assignments.

This is an excellent ChatGPT course for beginner or intermediate ChatGPT users. The course gives you concepts and techniques on how to program or prompt ChatGPT or other large language models to reach your desired goal or result in any fields. It helps you unlock the power of AI. By all means, this is not the end all learning of AI. Continue to practice and learn as much as you can as AI technology continues to evolve daily like a river flowing.

I love the instructor. Easy to understand and follow along as well he has a bit of a sense of humor. He made learning fun and interesting. I withheld 1 star because it didn't seem like my homework was actually being reviewed by anyone and therefore I am not sure I did it correctly nor was there any instructor feedback. As soon as the homework is submitted it is graded immediately. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course!

I would have liked more guided exercises to really hammer home the prompt patterns this course teaches. That being said, the course was presented well and I ultimately learned a lot. At the end of this I was able to create a prompt-based application that had ChatGPT review, critique, and rewrite any prompt I initially give it and even ask follow-up questions to me to further refine the quality of my prompts.
