For a foundation course, this one was easy to understand, it explained all basic concepts in a fluid way and built up the base for the upcoming courses. I'm eager to move on to the other courses now.

I think this is a great start for anyone who is starting from absolute zero. I think that since I've been toying with the idea of getting into Cybersecurity for 2 years now, it was a great refresher!

Deducting one star for having to place information security actions into arbitrary CISSP domains on test questions. I actually passed the CISSP exam and found this meaningless. Also felt some of the core concepts could be explained in better depth as most was surface level or glossary level definitions of concepts.

This course covers the basic definitions and concepts of cybersecurity. It is really a good start for those who want to enter the security field. It contains practice tests and graded assessments. You can also track your course improvement and have the ability to repeat lessons as much as you want. Time Flexible!

I found this course to e an incredibly valuable experience. The materials was presented in a clear and concise manner, and the course was broken down into manageable sections that made it easy to follow along.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning more about cybersecurity.

The course offered a solid foundation in cybersecurity, covering key tools like SIEM and essential concepts such as security frameworks and ethics. It provided practical insights and expanded my understanding of how to handle security incidents effectively. Overall, it was a valuable introduction to the field.

The course material is good foundational information. Unfortunately, navigating the course was a challenge since it was always difficult to get back to the lesson, once I exited the browser. I had to try several times each day before it brought up my progress from the previous session and I could continue.

The course videos were basically the same content as IBM's and I was able to improve my prior understanding of frameworks and security controls. It was good for going over the basics and I was glad that the questions on the quizzes seemed to vary a bit more at least to keep the content engaging.

SOME OF THE VIDEOS HAVE SPELLING AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THEIR SCRIPTS. I ALSO THINK SOME EXTRA EXPLAINING IS NEEDED FOR SOME CONCEPTS, AND REALLY WISH THERE WAS A PRINTER FRIENDLY WAY TO PRINT THE READINGS AND MAYBE SOME ACCOMPANYING FLASHCARDS WITH THE GLOSSARY TERMS COULD BE HELPFUL..

While some of the videos can be a bit tedious, the information is great and it is all presented in a way that even someone with zero experience would be able to grasp quickly. I have a background in CISCO, and this course really lays out the very basics for a foundation of understanding.

This was an excellent course! I have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Computer Networking, and this course covered the topics five times better than my university did. It was fun, engaging, and had a good balance of difficulty. The course was challenging, but easy to do.

The material is wonderful, but a few sections had too much stuff lumped together. Great video segments. Really wish the whole thing could be viewed in dark mode. 14 hours of white screens with gray text is not fun... Very happy to see the ethics and resources links ....

A good introduction to cybersecurity. However, some of the quiz questions and answers didn't align, so you have to determine whether you're going to answer correctly or how you think they wanted you to answer even though it doesn't align with how the question was posed.

A bit too high-level. Might be better to focus on foundational stuff, and dig a bit deeper. Why mentioning Linux, Python, and SQL at all? Introduce them later. Let students be more comfortable with the basics as to what frameworks is, what is a security control etc.

I think this course has some great fundamentals, but securing Windows is likely going to require learning Windows and hardware structure. I have learned a lot about the structure of Cybersecurity, and the tools that are used, so I will continue the course for now.

It was as a good start into realm of cybersecurity. Made me aware about need of safeguarding systems and networks also taught ethical practices in the profession of security analyst. I am rating 4 out of 5 because some questions in the quiz were too much confusing

I really enjoyed this course. I have learned many concepts about cybersecurity and now I'm aware of some attacks and I can avoid them when I recognize.
I can protect myself now and by the way If join the cybersecurity industry I can protect others to use a product

This course was simplified and retainable for me. I enjoyed structure of the courses outline and will recommend it to others. My only complaint is how lost I got navigating through the course material when wanting to explore different sections of the material.

For the most part, this course is excellent, however, the "Professional Statement" section is a bit confusing in its explanation and layout, I was stuck there for a while....much longer than I had hoped to be, but eventually got through it. Just my 2 cents.

It was a nice taster to the cybersecurity domain for beginners. The exercises were nicely organized and easy to grasp for beginners. The videos of the instructors helped beginners to connect with them and better understand the concepts in the videos.

I love the course so far but I personally think you should include like something you can do hands on that relates to what were learning in each section. Something like what TryHackMe has. Other than that I love everything I've been learning so far!

There was a lot of information to absorb, but it was helpful for it to be mentioned multiple times. The only negative was the core speaker. She was not an engaging teacher and reading the transcripts and taking notes turned out to be more helpful.

For someone with zero technical background and experience they make this course as user friendly as possible. If you're unsure whether or not this certificate program is for you, by the end of this first course you should have a pretty good idea.

Exciting Course, I liked the way the fundamental cybersec concepts were explained. This course is indeed beginner friendly... however, you will need to put in the hours to read the extra resources provided such as NIST CSF, NIST RMF, and others
