It's a nice course for anyone who starts from scratch and instructor was very nice to explain very minute details about all the syntax and i would really look forward for CSS and all course with Prof. Collen.

Great course for beginner, and for good choice for those who know a little about web and want to go through all the basic concepts again. The instructor explain concepts form tags to deployment clean and well.

Highly informative with clear examples to further illustrate each point taught in each lesson. It's really helpful to know more about cPanel and web hosting instead of figuring it out (the hard way) by myself.

This course seems pretty basic, but there lies the effectivity. It focuses only on html and that helps you go deeper in the first step instead of flooding your head with tons of content difficult to memorize.

Solid intro to HTML course. However, I feel like learning web design by Jennifer Niederst is a better guiding book for individuals that are interested in UX over the standard text recommended in this course.

I really like the accessibility part of the course, and of course two others parts were also useful and very helpful was the part of validate your page and how to make it shown on the Web. Thank you a a lot.

Really good and introdutory, although i had previous contact with HTML it was also a great way of getting to know better HTML5 and its semantic. Beyond that, the focus on accessibility is an amazing feature.

I thought I know HTML. It's true I knew it, but I couldn't do anything with it. I love the lecture Colleen and her tips and tricks. I felt like a real web developer and it was only HTML. I miss next lesson.

This course really gives the basic foundation of html5 and much more. But you need to continue learning if you want to proficient in html5 as it can't cover all of the topics exist in the real world html5.

This really was wonderful experience.I nailed my final project all my thanks to Colleen.I didn't know very much about html when i took this course but I am confident enough now.Coursera really is the best.

A very good introduction to the HTML5 part of web development. Some parts of the course could have gone faster, but all in all I think I gained a very good understanding of the material from Prof van Lent.

I can't doc a star like I wanted to. The good parts of the class were perfect. The bad part was the areas that needed updated/edited and didn't get it. Also, FF does allow for the details tag to work now.

I've learned a lot from this course it was good course and it gives me the hope to learn more and more about the web development. I hope I will continue this and will become a web developer in the future.

Well the peer-review is a bit problematic as some people who graded don't know what they are talking about but overall, good course! It provides a good foundation, addressing accessibility is a huge plus.
