Great course! Dr. Severance explains concepts with excellent clarity, while ensuing that the lectures do not become dry and factual. This is a great start for anybody who wishes to learn python.

Very informative and efficient way of teaching. All the basics are covered which every newbie programmer should know and it's easy to grasp. The quizzes will help you to solidify those concepts.

I really enjoyed this course, and found that the progression was paced perfectly. The last exercises are hard, but achievable in light of the more basic examples that are very clearly explained

Charles is really good at explaining Programming with basic examples related to our day-to-day lives. I really loved it when Charles compared Python to a dog and how a dog responds to keywords.

I was fascinated with the proffesor. He really wants every student in his class to learn, and explains so clear and concise. This is one of the best classes that I have taken in Coursera. 10/10

This course is an excellent option, but I must say that it will not give you all. It just gives you the simplest things, but for the assignments you need to study and look for more information.
