This course was quite helpful. I work in a fast pace environment with multiple projects going at the same time. Planning the work, prioritizing and mapping progress was helpful. Thanks for the course.

I liked the course, however I'd like to give some feedback that might be useful to you:

I was surprised a bit how short the course is. When I read this "4-8 hours of videos, readings, and quizzes" I thought that there will be 4-8 hours of videos _besides_ readings and quizzes. So this one is a bit misleading.

Despite of this I liked the course. It gave me a lot of tricks and tips. However I don't understand the final 96.4% either. Maybe I missed something because after the last assignment the result has gone away in less then 1 second. As far as I know all my assignments were 100%.

The design of the videos is a bit "spartan" :) I finished a couple of other Coursera courses (HCI, Gamification etc.) where the videos were much more delightful. This white background, black text is very disappointing.

Anyway: Thanks!

Helpful information. I think I've known a lot of these things already, but it's a good refresher and the most important thing is putting the tips into practice. I'm still the same "me" and there weren't any huge, mind-blowing new tips that changed "me" or the challenges I sometimes face dealing with a hectic work environment and tons of random and completely different requests/interruptions... However, all of the information was very practical, well-supported by research and clear on how to implement. So, it was worthwhile and i'd recommend it as a good place to star for people looking to improve their productivity and time management.

I liked that the lecturer is not wasting my time but also takes pauses: that's a great balance! I liked that the course is short (it took me two days to complete it). Information is relevant and worth thinking about. Especially for those people who haven't been thinking about it before.

I would improve design components of the course: typography of letters and all writings. It would make a course much much better. It could be done easily for the person who is familiar with this, but would make the course much much better for another people.

Thanks, Margaret Meloni and her team!

This course points to good soluitons to nowaday's common bad habits, like procrastination or multitasking, and some of the strategies are very applicable the my work environment (not all because of hierarchical and cultural differences).

The only point I would like to change is the teacher's tone of voice. It sounded too low for me, even after setting the volume to maximum I have had difficulties parsing the words. This may be an issue of english not being my mother language, but comparing to other courses that's a possible explanation.

Thank you very much.

I enjoyed the exercises that necessitated working through time management, and concrete suggestions for improvements. The videos were not terrible, so that's good! In fact they were never too long and presented topics concisely although almost always in an 'at work' context instead of say a 'finding work' or other context. It was easy to check off assignments, and submit discussion responses, but not easy to find them later or look into who may have reacted or upvoted and perhaps actually have a discussion with fellow students.

Instructor was clear and easy to understand. Her diction was smooth. The materials provided for the course were helpful, I liked the provided charts that complimented the discussion.

The only thing I would change is the format of the quiz questions. From an educational standpoint, they were not complex enough to assess the true take-aways from the course. This is always a challenge when it comes to multiple choice assessments.

I suggest adding more external articles to read and pulling some assessment content from them.

Simple and practical guidelines which can be followed easily. I think I will be able to apply the methods discussed in the course on daily basis without actually spending much time on learning them as they are very practical! The course has been useful in making me realize where all my time has been going without quantifiable results and hopefully I will be able to make a habit of good time management. Thank you for putting it together :-)

Course helps to induce certain productivity tips that one might have a subtle awareness. The course helps to establish these in a proper manner. Its super easy to proceed through and definitely a must because one always want to have an instant solution to the problem but productivity topic doesn't have one. Its better to start than to wait for the perfect opportunity and I believe this course does justice to this premise.

This course provides clear and crisp additions/modifications in our daily life style that can bring about significant changes. Instructor illustrates these solutions by means of very simple yet powerful examples and provides useful monitoring techniques that'll one help become more productive. All in all this is a good course one must take to learn or if you already know then refresh the ideas to become more productive.

I already knew that multi-tasking was an inefficient performance and productivity detriment. However, this course provided me with new insights as to how to avoid this pitfall and still complete multiple task efficiently. as well as how to effectively complete a task and move to the next de-engaging so to speak in prioritizing and transitioning, as well as many other ways to work smarter with time management.

This course definitely teaches you to work smarter, it is the simple changes that make this all possible. This course however can be done in one sitting, not sure if it can be called a course and I am not sure that I want to pay to get certified for taking it. One little pet peeve I experienced was when the Professor kept saying "refer back" that is grammatically incorrect. You simply refer to something.

this course introduced several important points in self-management, and these ideas might sound like cliche and easy to do, however it was really difficult to insist on doing them. unfortunately, this course didn't tell us how to overcome some bad habits in self management, like procrastination. I tought this course would be better if it covered what we should do when these strategy failed on us.

Very short and concise. Provides a nice overview of productivity tips from major books on this topic. However, I had heard most of these before and would appreciate more new information. Nevertheless, it was helpful to be reminded of these tricks to use time more productively. So I would recommend this mostly to those who are new to time-management and have not read much about it.

Good. but this is just kind of manual. We must train ourselves to follow this tips. Every time we got failed that we didn't know how to train us. If you have already tried several times for time management and failed, You would fail because of the same reason. This course will just show what is good and what is bed. We already know. What we need to know is.... How to train us.

I enjoyed the course and learned a great deal that I will put into practice as I can, but I was a little frustrated when I discovered I could not submit my quizzes after taking them unless I changed from auditing the course to purchasing it. Will miss the feedback from knowing if I was correct, but understand that auditing does have limited access to entire course.

Although I consider myself pretty good at time management, I learned some useful tips for time management and productivity. Highly recommended to those who have difficulties in efficiently completing the tasks assigned to you, regardless of work or daily life. The talks given by Mike Sanders regarding multitasking on YT are very informative as well.

simple and useful tips.

the lecturer introduced importance and method for time log, prioritization, dealing with different tasks (do immediately, archive, do later, wait for other information), keeping only 1 calendar, etc.

also, she introduced the "switching cost" concept and way to decrease it (taking notes before switching task), which is very useful

It is a sufficient course for one who is new to Time Management. It helps to identify your weaknesses. Personally for me it was mind opening to know that my so called Multitasking was Nothingtasking .... I finally realized the core problem for my unproductiveness.. I am very happy I took this short course. It is also very quick and easy to complete!

Simple and easy to follow video series on the basics of Time Management.

A good insight upon some basic time management concepts which could be applied in both professional and personal lives.

Much thanks to UCI and to Coursera for granting me this opportunity to keep learning and to improve upon myself on these facets of personal development.

I liked the structure of the course which all most covered a lot of topics and had on each topic both an online video tutorial and practical exercises. I also liked the fact that it provided a very good overview of the course information system providing the opportunity to study topics more in-depth by having in mind the bigger context.

I liked the course. It was quick and easy. I wished the Fast Company articles were easier to read. The link was not working so I went to the Fast Company website and was able to find the article entitled, "Why Should You Ignore Time Savings Tips. I was unable to find or read Habits of Effective People/The Art of Doing Everything.

This course offers very useful tools and topics that would lead you to improve your time management and at the same time introduce you to a more productive work environment.

It is a bit short and I think that it could go deeper on its content, offering other tools in time tracking and visualization.

I definitely recommend this course.
