Great introduction into the remaining courses. I love that there are different learning methods, ie, audio and reading and that there are quizzes at the end of each to help you digest the information.

I'm really interested in learning with Google. This is the first lesson I've ever done with this particular school though. Let's see, from first impression, I admit the website looks rough and I'm nervous to navigate through. Its layouts are scattered and I can't get a good focus. I had to watch the videos over again and again before I could remember all of them. For someone trying to learn, this may be a setback. You should always plan your lessons out so that they are even, sequential, and easy to learn, I plan to keep learning with this program so I hope the other lessons will improve. I also hope the material is worth learning, not under training in other words or less than an employee is looking for. Now let's see how my ratings change as I continue along with my lessons.

The "Foundations of Cybersecurity" course provides a comprehensive introduction to essential cybersecurity concepts and practices. It covers the fundamental principles of protecting organizations and individuals, including core skills necessary for a cybersecurity analyst. Key topics include security domains, controls, and frameworks, with practical insights into using tools like SIEM for monitoring and responding to threats. The course effectively balances theoretical knowledge with practical applications, equipping students with a solid understanding of both the strategic and technical aspects of cybersecurity. Overall, it’s an excellent starting point for anyone looking to build a career in cybersecurity.

It was a great course. My only problem I had was differentiating the types of phishing attacks: Water Hole Attack or Whaling. While similar, and web searching recommended, examples for most glossary terms are not presented clearly within in the course. This goes for most glossary terms; It is recommended by the course to do a bit researching on your own when you have an idea but I strongly feel that such examples could be presented within the course along with the glossary term(s) at the end of each module.

When it comes to security there should not be in ANY ambiguity and the wording has to be precise. For example about cloud security there are 2 parties mentioned 'service provider' and organisations! 'service provider' is an organisation. This course is meant to be for individuals with no prior experience... it should have been 'service providers' and 'service consumers' When security related material is not clear and ambiguous the understand would be inconsistent.

Interesting beginner level course. I fell that some quiz questions are way too ez to deduce even if you have not paid any attention to the subject. I did pay attention because I do take this couse seriously, but honestly, an attentive person can litteraly just glide and skip straight to the quizes and pass. Please review your multiple choices.

While I feel like it covered a lot of information and laid out a great framework of the history of CS, I felt as if there was any real substance to gather and asked myself will this help me with a job in the industry

Great high level introduction to cybersecurity, but the industry does not recognize this certificate in any meaningful way and it has been nearly impossible to find a job

I think it has too many explanations and the whole thing about the forums is very annoying for me. That's been said, it makes the certification more difficult to follow.

Demasiado básico, curso 1 y curso 2 deberían compartir más contenido. Demasiado contenido en el curso 2 y el curso 1 tiene muy poco

Videos were a bit boring to watch since the instructor was clearly just reading off a script, but the other activities were fine

Very basic and more focused on terminology and introducing general concepts. Good overview if you're totally new to security.
