First of all, I would like to thank Google for putting together this incredible course! I received a lot of valuable insights through the completion of this course. I was introduced to various concepts and methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma. I would definitely like to deep dive into these concepts and learn more about them. The responsibility of the Project Manager that stands out the most from my perspective is how to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and involve numerous stakeholders in the process to successfully deliver and deploy the project through the implementation of the above-stated methodologies.

Google's Project Management course on Coursera is an excellent resource for anyone looking to gain a solid foundation in project management. The material is comprehensive and well-structured. The instructor is engaging and knowledgeable, making the content easy to follow and understand. The course's activities are enjoyable and interactive, allowing learners to apply their newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios. Moreover, the course is highly relevant and up-to-date, with the latest industry best practices and trends. Overall, this course is a must for anyone seeking to enhance their project management skills and advance their career.

The Foundations of Project Management course was a brilliant idea and it was executed splendidly. Each stage of the 4-week course was explained in good detail and the questions make you think about and review what you've learned prior. During the course, I almost felt as though I had been learning and practicing project management for years as it related greatly to what most of us do daily, like when planning events, great or small. I would recommend using this course for those interested in finding a role within project management, speaking as a building services engineer who had no prior idea or information about what the role entailed.

Thank you to Emilio and all the guest speakers throughout this course. Project management is a vital part of any plan's success and I really appreciated how Emilio took the time to make these connections with practices we complete every day! It was also beneficial to learn about the importance of understanding organizational culture along with key features of managing a project such as change management! How many times have I been a part of a changing process where it felt like no one ever considered how we were all supposed to adapt! Thank you again for such a wonderful and comprehensive approach to project management foundations.

The first course in the Professional Project Management Certificate is very informative, short, and overall direct to the point. I did like appreciate the videos of company employees sharing their personal experiences and insight into their respective roles. The Peer-review discussion boards have never been my favorite. It is not monitored by instructors and people just post anything or nothing at all and "complete" the assignment. I'm glad that for now, the discussion boards are participation optional, but I worry about when capstone comes around how will it work? I do believe hard work is noticeable and hope Google is watching,

Initially I want to thankyou coursera for giving me this opportunity to complete this course. This is my first course ever on Coursera. The knowledge that i gain from this course is unbelievable. I already interested on learnig project managements so i read many articles on internet but when I found this course on coursera I realize that this may be my best experience ever.

The instructor used relative examples that are well understood in various personal and business aspects. He himself was relatable to users, and so were the "guest speakers". Everything was broken down in well organized and timed sections that delivered information in a well paced manner. I believe someone taking this course that was completely new to Project Management would succeed. The use of video, with text that is highlighted along with the presenters speech was highly useful for me as someone with a photographic memory. Hearing someone speak, while being able to read and follow along greatly helped my type of learning.

I recently completed the " Foundation of Project Management" course offered by Coursera with Infosys Springboard and I must say it was Exceptional learning experience.

In this course I learned what project management along with the role and value of a project manager. Next I learned life cycle of project and the task to manage a project from start to finish. Then project management methodologies and tips for choosing right method for your project also, change management and organization structure and management and mostly important creating simple team connections can lead to successful project outcome.

An excellent course to start learning the highly valued skill of Project Management. The course is well paced and the videos have high quality content coming from well qualified and experienced professionals.

The content could help with our daily life in such a way that we might start thinking like a project manager to successfully complete some of the things we do. e.g. I was thinking about selling a property that has shared ownerships, documentation challenges, land conversion, marketing and finally selling. Could relate the steps to a hybrid model.

I have no background in project management and took the course out of a mild curiosity. I learned more than I expected to learn. Some of the things I learned were things I already knew from work experience. (Indeed, I would expect that most people who have worked in a corporate environment would generally know these things.) However, the framework in which the material was presented was very clear and engaging. I would recommend this class for anyone working in a corporate environment even if they do not have an interest in being a project manager because of the overview it provides about projects.

This course has been an excellent refresher on project management for me. The course content is very detailed and its presented in an easy to understand format, the videos helped me to learn about the non-traditional paths to becoming a project manager from some of the program managers at Google, the questions and quizzes tested my knowledge of the concepts I have learnt, and the discussion boards provided a way to engage and share with other participants. This course is an excellent introduction to Project Management. I like the format, which is a combination of short videos, pertinent readings, a discussion board, and practice activities to apply newly learned skills. This course includes career possibilities, which I think is great to have at the very beginning of the course. This course also teaches about how the organization that you are a part of impacts your position as a PM. I was excited to complete every part of this course! Continuing on to Course 2~ Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project.

The course has been really helpful and educative, as it has offered me the insight i need concerinng project management. Have learnt what project management is all about and how to implemet it in my day to day activity. With all i have learnt, i am confident that i am more knowledgeable in the field. I can now take up project without any fear of not delivering quality service. I also want to appreciate all the project managers that handled one part or another of this course. I am so happy i get to complete it, as i can now focus on the next course ahead.

This course was very user friendly and I am a not so techy person. Plenty of additional resources from outside the course classroom were provided for every topic along the way, with real life examples and the ability to chat with classmates. Those tools combined with graphs and images helped to make the material way more memerable. The best part for me was that I was able to follow along with and complete the tasks in my own time. I highly recommend taking this course both for the official certification and the professional and personanal development.

As a new project manager, I found this course to be fantastic. It provides a great overview of what project management is for those of us who are just getting started and I appreciate the additional insights from program/project managers who have found this career path from many different backgrounds (army, bartending, etc.) It is amazing how many skills translate to this kind of work and I have noticed this myself as I have a background in sales. I would highly recommend this course if you are new to project management or looking for a career change.
