I really enjoyed this course because it started to get into the technicalities of this step in the data analytics process and ends it all off with great resume building resources, strategies, and tips that I will definitely incorporate into my new resume. You learn a lot here about spreadsheets and SQL as well as the intricacies and importance of the data cleaning process.

The lessons are fantastic, all courses in coursera till now have a great guidance, and the way they are put together , make it even more easy to learn and follow!! I can only regret that I didn t start in coursera learning earlier!! Happy to explore more advantages of the platform!!! The course gives a bird-eye view for the cleaning process and gives plenty of hands on experience as well. While it doesn't teach you everything that is needed for data cleaning, it teaches most of it and sets you up for a great start, allowing you to learn in the right direction. The production quality is top-notch and the instructor is easy to follow!

This was excellent in helping me solidify some of the SQL syntax that I had already started learning while adding new functions. As someone who is transitioning (again) in my career, the end of this course built on my excitement for building a resume that will land me a new, and much better, job! I learned new things with this course and I found that data cleaning is one of the most important parts of data analysis process. It was an amazing journey, I learned about data integrity, using spreadsheets and SQL functions for data cleaning and how to prepare a resume in order to apply for jobs as a junior data analyst. This course does a great job at introducing the application of SQL and querying data in databases, cleaning it, updating it, removing unwanted entries etc. It also helped me learn cleaning data in spreadsheets, creating a database in BigQuery by uploading the data to query and how to convert it from one data type to another for analysis.

I found this course to be great, a step up in knowledge and practical skills. Being more on BigQuery and getting time to practice will only encourage me to continue. The instructor, Sally, was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and encouraging, which made me want to continue. The group of instructors for the course have been very good.

Great course and super interesting. One thing I would note is that the graded assessments mostly test concepts rather than skills. It would be nice to have a couple of questions that ask you to actually write a basic SQL query or clean a piece of sample data in the same way you get to do in the practice exercises. Otherwise, great job!

Fully packed with Data cleaning techniques, both in spreadsheets and SQL. The instructor was excellent and i loved how interactive the course was. I like the fact that i could get hands on activities to practice what i was learning. There were intances where i could follow the intructor with practice using links to templates issued.

Well paced course. A gentle introduction to SQL and formulae and functions in spreadsheets. I had already used many of the cleaning techniques illustrated in the course in my job, but this neatly formalizes it. The section on resume building was very helpful for people like me who are looking to change careers!

This course is very interesting. the teacher is very clear and engaging. I really like the alternation of video and text, it allows you to go deeper into topics without ever getting bored. I was looking for a course that would introduce me to the world of data cleansing and I found it, I am very satisfied!

I have gained a lot of knowledge that benefited me on a personal side as soon as in my wrok. I am currently working as a sales analyst and I have to work daily with spreadsheets that contains dirty data. This course really started getting the student "Me" more accustome to using SQL in the BigQuery Database. I really enjoyed the ability to initiate queries on a 400GB dataset. Realizing the sheer size of that accomplishment that happens in a meer 15 sec is absolutely amazing. This is an incredible course.
