A thorough introduction to project management! I think that the instructional designers did a wonderful job on this course. Videos were no more than 7 minutes, there were plenty of interactive activities to check understanding, and each quiz was challenging but attainable. I left course 1 with lots of new ideas, notes, and excitement about a new career journey.

Foundations of Project Management (Course 1) was a really great overview of what the field of project management is, what a project manager's general role is when working on any given project, the overall project lifecycle and methods/strategies to managing a project. This course provided me with a wonderful starting point...excited to jump into Course 2 next!

A pesar de ser PM desde hace algunos años, este curso me recordó la prácticas básicas del rol de forma sencilla pero completa. El curso está muy bien diseñado!!! Ahora... a traducirlo al español (con tantas herramientas no debe ser difícil).

The course on Foundations of Project Management allowed me to realize that in my current job I am doing project management. It has also provided me with the clarity of the skills, steps and processes that I need to focus on in order to consolidate the way I see myself and I operate as a successful project , and to develop my career in project management roles.

For a new comer like me jumping into this certificate was not challenging at all. the course is very well detailed and the additional resources help better understand the course materials as well. The videos are great and the practice interactive assignments are great too!. I highly recommend for those who have no background or knowledge of Project Management.

Very concise, full of information, and easy to digest. It seems to touch on all points of project management so you get a good scope of role and field. I love the way it was broken down between the videos and readings. I also very much enjoyed the videos from Google team members! They are full of insightful tips and tidbits. Overall, really great first course.

This course is a must for entry-level project managers who wish to pursue their careers as Project Managers, and a refresher for experienced project managers. It provides a solid foundation for the core principles of Project Management through well-structured videos and reading materials with relevant exercises and quizzes. I recommend this course to everyone.

I'm open for the content as it's extended. New learning is always welcomed and I'm surprised to learn how project management has been in my sphere and I didn't know it. Light -bulb moment. also I'm not a PM currently however having the terms applicable to the functions has been an eye opener on leveraging what I currently do and adding PM as a proficent skill.

The course was insightful, but not overwhelming. It provided great information on the concepts and methodologies involved in Project Management, as well as assisted in helping to identify which of my current job skills directly correlated with those required of a PM. I look forward to continuing to learn about both the skills and the roles of a successful PM.

This course opened my eyes to things about my past experiences that i had taken for granted. I now understand that I could leverage on my past skills and exposure to present myself as a Project manager.

Very clear, easy to follow information. It really provides a clear understanding into the basis of Project Management and prepares you for further education on Project Managment. This course is a perfect solution for me. I was a messy one at work and never understood the importance of being organized. When I started looking for a change from my career I found this one interesting and now I can't wait to finish all courses of the project maagement. The instructor was so good at describing the concepts. He literraly changed my mindset.

The course was so informative and I looked forward to learning from the instructor and hearing experiences from other Google employees about their career path and experience. The reading materials were clean organized and easy to understand. I appreciate the authenticity that each contributor put in to help us understand the foundations of project management.

The course-1 was informative lying down the basic fundamentals of project management. The instructs communicate really well and in precise manner student will be able to understand the descriptions. An important other thing is demo practice questions provided in between or in the end of each module which will help in application of the learnings of concepts.

it was a wonderful experience going through this course and seeing my person in a lot of examples and daily activities including engagements in my place of work. it has really opened my eyes to see why somethings I do come with the result I see, either positive or negative, now I can make amendments where necessary and become better in my managerial skills.

First, this is a very interesting, motivating, and informative course.  Second, it was on my radar for quite sometime, but I needed availability.  Third, I'm ready for the next course in this specialization.  And finally, I highly recommend enrolling in this specialization. The manner in which classes are given by Google lecturers is immeasurable. I learned a great depth in this foundation course because introduce project managements methods I didn't know before example Agile and scrum. And moreover the platform Google and Coursera set to make learning available to every individual for career growth is undoubtedly the best.

This was a beautiful introduction to the world of project management. It was also very helpful to see what the foundations of successful project management looks like even though I have been doing it for nearly 5 years. It really got me excited to keep pursuing the certificate, learning, and searching for opportunities in the future for this type of career.
