The course was short and to the point. All of the people in the videos were articulate and knowledgeable. I feel like I learned relevant information that will actually help me in the IT career field. I'm so excited that this course was created by Google and that I will now have a certification that I can show to potential employers. I will definitely be taking more of the courses by them.

This is the first time I have attended a class in this format and wondered how effective it would be. It was very effective and therefore I would definitely be interested in attending other classes in the same format. The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about the current version, especially since the last version I used was several releases ago.

This by far the best bootcamp to learning new skills, while giving in-depth analyzes of each topic, breakdown the fundamentals, and allowing the hands-on approach with their labs to have the students.engaged. Its ALOT of information to consume but after time of reading, learning and memorizing the keys. You will leave this program with the knowledge and skills necessary to land that job.

I now know everything about computer components and how each piece works, and the purpose of it is that I can easily c hange any piece and install it. I hope totrain more practically on different types of problems and to discover and solve them to increase my skills. I hope to take the next training course in IT support specialist certification

I strongly recommend this course for someone who has an interest in the IT careers and is not sure if they want to go into it. This course will clear all your doubts and give you an idea of what the IT field is and what it offers. Take it and explore it, it will hardly take a couple of weeks if you dedicate good amount of time. You'll learn fundamental concepts and will get your answers.

I feel that this is a good basic course for the curriculum. I learned many things through my training. We started with binary, ending with job applications. However, the course was mainly used to become comfortable in the field. I could not recommend this course enough! Currently, I am going to use the programming aspect to help with other courses. Particularly looking at animation next.

This is an awesome course and way to gain IT knowledge and and career growth, Its been an awesome experience. This course, Technical support fundamentals is a great foundation to learning about IT and how it impacts the world and makes it a better place with new technologies coming up everyday. Helping people and improving lives via technology is one of the attributes IT brings with it.

I really enjoyed this course of section. I can say it was right decision for me to go for Google IT support professional certification, reason the way they organised all aspects related to course material was fabulous and i enjoyed each section of course well. I hope everybody whether fresher or experienced will learn from this and utilize in real scenario to have better IT professional.

This course is really educative as well as informative. It is very resourceful and has a lot of helpful references. The fact that tutelage is from personnels from fields of course topic drives home the point and communicates as much learning as can be. I LOVED IT!!!!!! I started this course looking for job skills, but instead I have found something that makes me feel impassioned and alive. IT is very enthralling.

Tip... When taking tests, if the answers are offered with squares to click instead of circles, that indicates for you to select multiple responses, even if the question doesn't specifically state to select all that apply :)

The content was very easy to digest and the challenges are well paced for any newbie to the world of IT. I have been around the world of IT for about 4 years, this course went over some great IT values that I have heard, and maybe forgotten, that will make you a superstar at the your Job. I am really happy with the content so far and look forward to getting a deeper dive on the content.

I started an IT role about two weeks ago and this course provided me with foundational concepts in IT that were very useful. It took me about a few days to learn important concepts in IT as a person coming into IT from a non-traditional background. I am going ahead with the other course in the specialisation to get myself job ready. Thank you for putting a course like this together.

Coursera is such a way to learn, refresh and further your knowledge. Loved the course. It was a great compliment to my CompTIA A+ with some hands on. I liked how the videos weren't long on drawn out like some of those "experts" on Youtube. It was short and yet compact and of-course they gave links to supplemental readings if you desired to go even more in depth. I definitely felt like it helped me to reinforce some stuff, plus learned alot of new stuff.

Absolutely amazing! I loved all of the content in this course and how easy it was to digest some of these complex concepts. All of the real-life examples, quizzes, virtual machine exercises, and instructors were all so carefully thought out and extremely helpful to grasping these concepts and teachings. I am so happy to continue onto the next course and dive deeper into this program!

I found the course to be a great, entry level jumping off point into the world of IT. Loved all of the history as well as learning the 'why' and 'how' behind how our devices work. There were a few videos that seemed to jump ahead a little, but as the course continued, it all came together for a general understanding of the basic fundamentals. I am excited to continue on this journey.

I give thanks to Almighty God for his grace and mercy upon me and the opportunities given to me to start and finished this course successfully. This course is great for new IT professionals and those looking for refreshers. It contains a lot of useful information and this particular course includes vm projects for both Linux and Microsoft. Some of the content can be a bit dry but its acutally the most useful information. Thank You to everyone that worked on providing this course and its content. Looking forward to much more.

Felt like a great place to start dipping your toes into the IT world. I appreciated the brief history of computing at the beginning to help orient us, and also the interviews with people in the field to give a sense of what could be next for those of use pursuing this field. The course itself was presented largely in a clear concise way that was not overwhelming. Highly recommend!

I am so blessed by God and so greatful with coursera and Google for letting add those new skills to my professional carrer for instance software and hadware, there were moment were some things just did not add up but with a little bit of extra resources and first God's help I was able to figure things out, and now I am more than excited to keep learning and put my skills to practice.

I was surprised by how much I felt I already knew but I learned a very great deal through this course. I definitely feel like my basics are covered and I can start to "speak the language" better. It's very inspiring the way it is presented as well. It was very professionally done and made the User feel at ease while learning about some fairly complicated and intricate information.

This is a very good introductory course to IT. As someone who has done IT for the last 3 years, and technical support for over 10, I can say confidently this is some of the most engaging material I've seen.

IT has a reputation of being confusing and it is the every day responsibility of IT Support rep's to make this easy for our customers to understand. This course does that superbly!

All presenters took time to make sure that the materials was easily absorbed while maintain the level of difficulty essential to understand the various scenarios that are likely to come up for people providing IT support. Great first course! Lots of knowledge and information. The only "problem" I had with the course (and this isn't about Google) is that one of my assignments still says not done and I need to reset my deadlines even though it was an optional assignment between two assignments. I realize it's a Coursera error, however it is still not fun to see on the screen. Other than that I loved it!

Easy course to fallow even for beginners. There were some lessons where I needed some extra reading, and even though there are some recommendations, reading outside of those helped me to get a better understanding. You can do it at your own peace, I decided to do it on an intensive mode as the time I can allocate for online learning is limited so wanted to learn as much as possible.
