This course was very informative and I am glad that I have taken it. I loved how they started from the beginning of IT, to building a computer desktop from piece by piece to preparing for a job interview. If you are interested in getting a job in IT or just interested in what IT is. Take this course. You'll appreciate it as much as I did.

I found this course very interesting, a lot of information was revealed, from basic computer assembly, software installation, and computer troubleshooting. IT Technical Support course is a must for everyone who is really interested in computers in general and wants to know the fundamentals of this tool that has formed our new way of life.

It was an amazing experience. The course was a perfect blend of theoretical as well as practical labs. was very helpful to learn and take quiz on the same.Since the course was handled by the pros of tech industry it was naturally very energetic and was high on motivation.

The material is very nicely prepared, very accessible, very interesting and relevant. I personally have my trouble with the guy explaining the hardware, because it seems he wants to say 10 different things at once, but it is still ok.

Overall, the course gives me the feeling of being prepared, if I want to work in IT support in the future.

This course lays a good foundation of the basics and it does so in a friendly environment with several tools and labs that allow you to really experience hands-on use of the knowledge you've been given.

This is the first online course that I've taken that actually gives you practical, hands-on experience from your own computer. Well done!

This is one of the best introductory course on IT support as it took me through the nitty-gritty of layers and architecture of computers, the types of hardware; the different components of hardware, OS, Software networking, and everything relating to IT. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to build a career in IT support.

This course was great for a beginner such as myself. I have no IT background.. my background is in business. Taking this course helped me realize that the field of IT is full of very different areas to specialize in.. I am not sure what speaks to me yet, but I look forward to learning more and getting my first entry level IT position.

I absolutely love how detailed but simple this course was to understand and in turn complete with little to no issues. Initially the way that the labs were saved and graded was a bit odd for me and even though I did finish my first labs on time they were not saved and graded. I had to come back and re-do them after the due date had past.

This is an excellent course. I get to learn a lot of new things. Since this is the overview course, everything is a bit easy. I think in deep dive course it'll be much more difficult. I spend 2 hours per day and took extensive note so that it'll help me in future. The course material were up to date and instructions were clearly defined.

Excellent course for beginners who are interested in learning about the computers world, even for those who have already an experience with PC's will find this course very satisfying.

While I do have a background in IT since High School, I wanted to prove to myself and challenge myself to see what I knew. This was a nice, well-rounded introductory course to the world of technical support. The content remained interesting and even when I ended up being offline for a full week due to an illness, it was super easy to get right back on pace and finish early. I am looking forward to continue to quench my thirst for knowledge through Coursera.

This is an excellent introduction to IT. The information is geared toward beginners, is well-organized, and presented professionally. The virtual-machine labs provide great hands-on experience, even with a few start-up bugs. The included discussion forums are a good way to get additional insight on the labs and lectures from your peers.

Very good for a first-time learner and keep that information coming. I think my only crtique would be to make sure that for those who are not so tech-savvy, be sure to continue to break down certain terms and vocabulary as to not confuse, or bore. Aside from that, this was a great intro course and I cannot wait to continue. Thank you.

I really appreciate this course having the Mock Interview at the end of the course to provide future tech applicants an idea of what to expect from an interview. I am particularly not the best at interviews but that simple video provided me with a lot of information and I hope I can put it to good use when the time comes! Great course.

Excellently written and produced. Suitable for practically anyone, maybe even kids with the desire to learn. It gives a brief history to set some context and then goes into detail in the right pace to keep you engaged. I'm fairly tech-savvy myself and yet there were still some interesting bits I learned from this course.

Honestly, Coursera is the best platform for learning new skills. However, I gained confidence after taking some specialization courses. In addition, I truly appreciate all the great instructors for amazing skill sharing.
