Curriculum

• The degree is divided into 8 terms. The 1st four terms will focus on building a solid foundation through core courses and projects and the next four terms will allow you to choose elective courses & undertake projects.

Earn a double specialisation

IIT Roorkee’s EMBA allows you to customise your degree as per your career goals. Earn upto a double specialisation in domains across marketing, finance, human resources, operations and information technology. There are 55 different electives available across the above 5 domains For you to earn a specialisation in the degree you will need to select a minimum of 15 electives out of which electives worth of 10 credits should be in a distinct area (i.e. marketing, finance, HR etc).

Minimum required credits vs additional credits

Each core/elective course & project across eight terms has credits mapped to it. For you to earn this degree you will have to complete a MINIMUM of 73 credits. Following is the split of 73 credits required across core/elective courses & projects:

Total credits available as per course structure (All core courses)

• Core courses (Mandatory): 37.5

• Elective courses (Choice based): 25.5

• Projects: 10

• Total: 73

• If you wish to select more elective courses than required you are welcome to do so but will incur extra fees per additional credit.

• You have a total of 5 years to complete the minimum credits required (73) to earn the degree.
