Great course, however, some of the concepts or tasks
are not so clear. In my case, because I
need examples as how would they look like in real life or already completed.

I took this Yale University "Connected Leadership" course on Coursera to develop my skillset as a leader for both remote and in-person teams. The course had a lot of insightful information about managing strategic change within an organization and how to organize and motivate teams to implement shared goals. After this course, I have renewed enthusiasm to encourage open dialog, set attainable goals, foster a sense of inclusivity, and, ultimately, help create and lead motivated teams that have momentum toward our mission.

An excellent course, with useful tools and relevant reference material to allow learners to apply the lessons learned both thro9ught course, as well as going forward, after the course is completed. The course is a launch pad... a starting point, if you will, for an important part of the rest of your life.

A complete course balancing theory, framework presentation, nicely selected additional materials, and exciting case studies. The 4Ps approach becomes evident through the use of broad-application templates. Leadership learning truly connects the Self, Team, and large System dimensions.

This course starts nicely. However, besides being boring and beating around the bush, the increasing indoctrination is appalling. This course should be about connected leadership and not pushing the author's opinions (racism, climate change). This is coming from someone who shares a similar political belief as the author but hates the instrumentalization of this course.

Excellent course content. It's thought provoking in terms of overall subject matter, & will also open your eyes to your existing beliefs & help you see with greater clarity how you might make a shift in how you view things. Challenges in team environments in terms of skills, or perhaps understanding where your stakeholder influencers really appear & what actions you may be able to take to shift positively these things to help you develop professionally & personally. The tools helped me move focus from the "why" to the "how". For me, the "how" is where the rubber hits the road. It allows me to see the "how" through the different course modules through the use of visualization tools & exercises. Making better informed decisions will have a better strategic, positive impact vs focusing on the "why" operational & tactile approach. Highly recommended & very enjoyable course!

When i first enrolled in this program, i was clueless on what connected leadership is. But now, I have sufficient information and tools required to start my connected leadership journey. I’m finding it difficult to update my "connected leadership" handbook at this stage. I need to further understand and revisit the classes multiple times to get it right. And i think i will master it one day. Thanks for this wonderful experience, Coursera, and Yale. And on the tutor, Peter Boyd. His experience and craft, understanding of the current problems and processes are simply mind-blowing, motivating and encouraging. Both personally and professionally this course is extremely benefiting.

I have been in Management and leadership roles for almost 2 decades, and was pleasantly surprised with this course on how many simple yet effective ideas this taught. I could use many in daily work life. One thing I noticed while reviewing peer assignments and will strongly suggest based on that; take the tasks and suggestions very seriously and one can see a marked positive in performance as a leader , rather as a connected leader
