SO far I've enjoyed it and it's the course why I started the specialization for, and instead of taking it separate from the others, it's way better to have the full track to get the 360 view

The course, Leadership Through Design Innovation, challenged me and successfully took me out of my comfort zone. Using applied learning techniques, I was able to dig deep within myself.

Altough challenging, this course was insightful and fun. You learn about the importance of design innovation for orgnaizations. However, I strongly believe the course does not really bridge the power of design innovation with leadership. Additionally, I feel week 4 assignment is totally unnecesary due to its lack of relation to IMPLEMENTING design innovation in organizations. The course is pretty cool, but please beer in mind that the 4 assignments may take you up to 20 hours to complete.

The quality of course is excellent and assignments are also perfect.

But the major problem is time it takes to get checked your peer assignment. It takes very long time due to which I am not able to go to next Capstone Course.

I liked the format and the assignments. The assignments did however take a lot of time to complete. I think you need to give more info about how to prototype as I'm still not confident with this

Videos are quite short, there is almost zero material to download. As alumni of NU / Kellogg I would have expected more depth of the lectures.

While there are some interesting elements, taking a course on leadership without actual leadership skills included is not what I expected. Evaluating a grocery store layout may sound fun to a design-minded person, but not so fun for someone who is interested in general leadership training.

This course was likely very good with instructor engagement, but left to its own devices fails to provide the same level of value as other courses in the specialization. Much of the class would benefit from actual discussion, which is not really suitable for this MOOC format.

Worst course from the entire certification. It is very time-consuming, centered around design, and if you are not a Design or Marketing major, this is absolutely a waste of time. Also, the assignments that you hand in need to be graded by peers, but the Forum is full of requests asking to be graded, some requests are from weeks, months, even years (oldest one was from 2021), which if you are not graded by a peer, you cannot get a grade for your assignment, and it is also a huge waste of time. The course is supposed to have an AI grading tool, but it is useless if you have to wait months to get a grade. I wanted to take more courses, but this inefficiency is making me look elsewhere to obtain certifications. It is definitely NOT worth your money and time to use Coursera.
