Very informative. This course allows you to view how a project charter is created then gives you the opportunity to do it yourself. It also introduces an array of tools to help manage a project.

It was a refreshing course for me, since I used to be a project manager and I would like to be PM again.

I think this is very good to introduce yourself in this PM arena, and is good to keep up udated to.

I just would like that moderator/s or tutors would give more feedback after each evaluation.

It worth to do this course for learning about project definition and starting.

It gave me a bunch og good tools and things to consider for initiating my next project. However, some of the materials were difficult to understand and as for the quizzes, I spent a long time understanding what the question was to answer correctly. Not because I did not know the answer, but because the question was formulated so it was difficult to know what was meant.

There are some issues in the questions asked during video lessons that start to confuse you during the video instead of helping to test what you have learned in the video so far. There also was a week where they had you perform an activity that was completely unrelated to the scenario they use for all previous exemplars and continue to use after that activity.

This was a great course! I wished for a little more details about different tools (rather than just linking to them), but they gave a good overview of them in general. The only other thing I don't love is the peer assignments. Some people barely fill them out, and then you're also required to wait for them to get graded to get a completion on the course.

There were more than a couple of questions throughout this module of the form "which X of the following items ... " matches a certain criteria, where X is a number like 2 or 3. I wouldn't comment if it didn't happen so many times. When the correct answer is revealed there aren't the same number selected as in the question prompt. This was annoying.

Congratulation to google and coursera to bring such content from Project management learning.

The content is easily understandable with examples and activities. some of the highlights like Peer graded activities, Project Charter templates, Raci templates etc make it a valuable and unique.

Once again Thanks to the instructors and course content makers.

Everything was very informative and detailed! One thing I would wish was for more details to be added about the different types of Project Management Tools. Not a lot of people will know what Asana, Spreadsheet, Jira or SmartSheet are. Hopefully there's other learning programs here on Coursera for us to learn more about these tools!

Everything is good The example case study or project used by Google that is "Plant pal" is reallt not exciting . I personally belive it should something more realitic and common for students - Examples like : XYX wants to create an eComm App. XYX want to lunach a Cafe XYZ want to build a house. or or similar interest.

You get a good foundation of what a project manager is responsible for and what tools they can work with.

Topics like RACI charts and stakeholder analysis are an insight into responsibilities undertaken by the PM.

The activities during the learning are good practice for beginners. Try your best to attempt them and the quizzes.

Another great course! This course is where we actually apply knowledge on assignments. The Peer Review process could use a bit of a revamp, and the expectation of reading the outside links is a must if you are not familiar with the tools. The exposure to the project charter and tools and software is invaluable, thank you

Removing one star for the blood boiling irritating pronounciation of success. it's /sUHksEs/ and not /sUsssEs/ It just pissed me off so much that I stopped doing until my blood pressure lowered down. When I came back I heard it again, I got pissed off again. The cycle continud for a year but I was finally able to do it.

This is a helpful course. I feel that the peer review portion needs some oversight. I needed to resubmit my assignment several times, due to other reviewers either not realizing that my assignment was linked and not an uploaded document, or not understanding the assignment themselves and, therefore, grading inaccurately.

I particularly didn't enjoy the peer review. I received an insensitive comment about my grammar. Although I understand my grammar is not perfect, I don't think it should play a role in the grading of the peer assignments. We have students from all over the world, and grammar sometimes is subject to cultural variations.

very well explained but the was so much information to digest. so i need to go back to review what i have learned so far. my instructor was very explicit and used lots of examples which is very important. but the other topics were not explained in details like project proposals ,and some more. happy to complete this

I could not give this course a 5 star review for one reason—the peer graded assignment is ridiculous. Why do I have to wait on total strangers to "grade" my work for me to obtain a certificate that I paid for? I strongly suggest Coursera needs to remove the peer graded work from the courses. There is no benefit.

Not a bad course to take for beginners. It would be nice if the peer-graded assignments were required to have actual voiced feedback instead of just getting two very blank feedback boxes and points off when to your understanding you did the assignment perfectly well enough to have more points than you got.

This was a little bit of a slog, but I suspect it will pay off further down the road in the overall project management course. My main complaint is that there were a lot more videos and I found it difficult to pay attention. The videos that included little pop quizes were best because they kept me engaged.

Great course for laying down the foundations for initiating a project. Great references and reading for ongoing learning. The graded assignment menthodology may need some refinement. Some users don't follow the grading guidelines and the feedback quality is low. A very subjective assessment method.

Peer reviews are great but it can hinder if said peers are not an expert in the field of question. Those that possess skills in project management or are currently working in the field, I think would be better for assignment reviews. Outside of that, great course and ready for the next ones in line.

This course has thoroughly helped me reinforce what I previously knew but in a formal way. I love that I am able to ractice with the work tools used here thereby building my experience and my portfolio artefacts. Thank you google coursera for the demo license to be able to practice with the tools

It was very good, but not receiving the feedback from the peer-reviewed activity (make a project charter) shouldn't be an impeditive for getting the certificate, to the point that I concluded 99% of the activities, my grade was enough for being approved and the certificate couldn't be delivered.

Lots of information both theories and practical knowledge!

The case study going through the whole course is great.

Interactive peer review assignment is a good challenge. However there were some vicious reviewers that intentionally make others fail their work.

Discussion board is hard to navigate.

You might want to think about revising feedback to be required if someone does not award full points. Gitlab has a great online course that outlined the grading criteria for each but forced some sort of comment. While it was more time consuming it forced me to be more thorough and thoughtful.

Solid course. My only criticism is that I'd like to add a criteria on peer reviewed assignments that graded people on how professional the document looked. Some people just copy and paste which makes the document messy and hard to follow, and then they are still awarded all points.
