The Six Sigma methodology is a data-driven approach to improving business processes and reducing defects. The Improve and Control phases are the final two phases of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework, which is the core of the Six Sigma process. The Improve phase focuses on implementing solutions to address the root causes of the problem identified in the Analyze phase. This may involve testing and evaluating different solutions, and then selecting the most effective one. The goal is to ensure that the improvements made are sustainable and can be replicated across the organization. The Control phase is focused on maintaining the improvements made during the Improve phase. This involves establishing control measures, such as statistical process control (SPC) charts, to monitor the process and ensure that it remains within the desired parameters. The team also develops a plan for ongoing monitoring and adjustment to ensure that the improvements are sustained over time. Overall, the Improve and Control phases are critical to the success of a Six Sigma project, as they ensure that the improvements made are effectively implemented and maintained. By following these phases, organizations can achieve sustainable improvements in their processes and ultimately deliver better products and services to their customers.

Good introduction to lean and six sigma, could maybe use with some more peer graded projects to help implement some of the more complex concepts but has increased my thinking with regards to lean and JIT

Well explained but as a note, you should dig more into some parts of the course like lean thinking, so you develop a even deeper understanding of those tools. Overal a really good course.
