Horribly inconvenient performance of laboratory work. I would be more accustomed to using Intellij IDEA on my computer than sitting in a browser typing code in a horribly lag window. On some videos, almost nothing is visible (concerns the video with the analysis of the practice). Interesting interactive tasks and tests.

The course is okay for getting a first idea of the material, and it's nice that it includes lab exercises. My main annoyances would be that the lab setup instructions aren't correct (workaround has been shared in the discussion forums over a year ago) and the lab solution videos are impossible to read.

Relies a lot on external links, and while the videos are nice the labs aren't that well made; and the video solutions can't even be seen well, they shoud record them again but with more zoom

Some of the video content has very low quality and therefore was very difficult to follow. While the material is very comprehensive, I feel it could have been better modularized.

Goog content, but some lab solutions can be watched due to the low resolution of the image and there are some mistakes in the last quiz, i.e. question number 7

The lab exercise environment is very tricky to handle and unnessary. This code could have easily been provided on a git repo for easy access

The content is useful but the narration is monotone and some of the videos have very poor resolution

It looks like a good course, but seems a little outdated, like using XML for spring configuration.

Some of the quiz answers are wrong (need to select every option instead of all of the above)

Lab walthroug videos have poor quality and the details can't be read.

Lab video resolution was not good, so I didn't see the codes exactly.

The video quality is not very good. You have to improve it

Lab setup is faulty (maven does not compile without extra steps that students have to look up, work is lost from one day to the next), and Eclipse in the VM is really cumbersome to use. I would recommend to just upload the lab setup files, and let students install an IDE of their choice on their machine to get going. Have separate setup instructions for different IDEs if necessary. Some of the ungraded exercises are way too unclear, there is one with a flow diagram with just a lot of arrows pointing in to a factory and apparently we should know what order the inputs should be in even if the arrows indicate the exact same relationship to the factory for many items.

The overall content of the course was good, however there were spelling mistakes everywhere and overall a somewhat poor presentation of the learning material. The labs had to be completed using virtual machines which were slow and very burdensome to use. There was seemingly absolutely no engagement from any instructors with pupils taking the course.

Tedious. Video modules were poorly edited (there is a time when the presenter stops, fixes a typo, then starts that slide over). Actual diagrams were nowhere to be found. Videos that reviewed the labs were set up so the text on the screen was so tiny it was illegible, while most of the screen was useless space.

The material is a bit outdated. The slides shown in the videos and some of the written instructions have several spelling mistakes. But the worst issue is the quality of some videos where you are supposed to see how the instructor codes something to solve it. It is impossible to see the code.

First of all I wouldn't recommend taking this because the course hasn't been updated for a couple of years and it looks like nobody's upkeeping it,

Material is decent, labs are very easy but not so clear

Labs are done through a browser embedded VM using Eclipse and it's just horrible.

You must have prior JavaEE knowledge to understand what the instructor is talking about. Also, the transcript is not always available and sometimes not synced with the instructor especially in the first lectures, and the screen resolution in the labs is very bad and not clear.

the coach is very helpful and the graded quiz is a good way of recapping the knowledge. But the quality of the videos is not good enough (resolution, in-video corrections of the slides...). The lab is slow and needs a new launch everytime it opens again.
