This course helped me get comfortable working with command line basics, combined with Git/Github. There were few errors in labs or test but nothing that really detracted from the overall quality.

I would like to provide some feedback regarding the course materials. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties accessing the GitHub repositories provided by the instructor. It would greatly enhance the learning experience if you could ensure that the URLs to the GitHub repositories are functional, allowing students to complete lab exercises with ease. Despite this issue, I must commend the overall quality of the course. It was exceptionally beginner-friendly and provided valuable insights into version control. Thank you for your efforts in creating such a valuable learning resource.

The biggest challenge in this course was learning from it. Using the lab and terminal was very difficult. There's a need for more video instructions both in this course and throughout the specialization. There aren't enough exercises, and if we're expected to learn from additional external sources, then what's the point of paying for this course, just because of a brand name like Meta? If it's only because of that, then the course doesn't deserve any attention.

The content is great and very helpful. The reason I'm giving this course 3/5 stars is due to all of the grammar errors and typos I found in the course material. The biggest problem is that the final two labs dealing with forking and differential commands, the follow along material leads to a 404 on GitHub and needs to be corrected for other students to follow along with. Please fix this content.

The instructor does not explain all of the commands she uses, and the course does not explain how to use Bash once you install Git. I tried using Git Bash but ran into issues because the course does not distinguish between Git and GitHub CLI. In hindsight, I think I needed to use VS Code, but they never said that in the course.

Useful, but a bit outdated already. Tried my best to troubleshoot and self educate, but because the material has not been updated by Coursera in a few months/years, it added a lot of extra time spent re-learning updated information written for established developers, not so much newbies like myself.

I found much of this course confusing. It wasn't immediately made clear from the very beginning where exactly I should run the commands that the teacher was showing in the videos. I feel like the very first thing that should have been explained was how to install bash on my system.

Generally the course does the job to introduce version control but i feel that there is room for improving the course. For example explaining better what Bash is and how to access it. Also i feel that some links in assignments need to be updated.

Very good intro to version control, got me interested in the history of linux and version control. However, I wish more was said about resolving merge conflicts and more practical labs were dedicated to this scary, yet important workflow of git.

overall it was ok. The instructor voice and pace was amazing although there were many instances where they had lack of clear explanation. moreover, I encountered some technical issues while doing assignment that I hope they could solve them.

All the practical projects have outdated repositories that no longer exist in GitHub, hence there currently is no available exercises so as to corroborate students are retaining the knowledge they're getting from this course.

Course offers basic introductions to version control and Git. They lost me somewhere around covering Git HEADS. I was unable to complete any of the forking exercises, as the links to the class repo didn't work.
