I was excited about the concepts that were going to be taught in this course, but after completing it I was left disappointed. I will provide my take on the bad and the good. I design course content so I will speak from my knowledge and experience. The course seemed as if it was rush and failed to provide content which engaged all learning styles. The videos on the most important parts seemed rushed especially during the coding segments. Some of the links for the additional reading material returned 404 errors. Some of the concepts covered when reviewing the actual React documentation it states that this should never be used in your programs because it can make your programs inconsistent. The positive was because I felt that it was lacking necessary content, I did additional research on my own and feel that I need to continue to work on improving my React skills because after completing this course I do not have the confidence in my abilities that I feel that I should. I would recommend looking at the React documentation on the React website in conjunction with the course material. You may even want to view it and then view the course content for each given subject.

I recently completed the React Advanced course on Coursera, and I must say it was a highly valuable learning experience. The whole course was impactful and valuable even for experienced developers. I got my goal, freshed up my knowledge, and even learned something new. I like the way how teachers present the lesson; I like that always after theory - you have practicing part; I like exercises because it was interesting and very close to real-life tasks; I like that you can see the right answer after you finish - because if you didn't get something - you have a really good explanation; Only one thing was sad - some of the techniques or documentation was deprecated :(

I was having lots of problems in the labs of the first week and the third week because the videos was explaining an implementation and the labs has another implementation so we struggled to know how to cross the labs without a guidance or a link of reading to imagine the various implementations. as a beginner i struggled with the instructions of the labs because i didn't understand what to do from the instruction like in the graded assessment and other labs as well so hope to upgrade this in the future. thank you

I took this course as someone who already knows React but hadn't used it in a while. It was an excellent way to refresh my skills and pick up some advanced concepts. What I found most useful was the links to self-study material and being introduced to libraries that make development more efficient. Overall it was excellent but I'm hoping some of the legacy concepts will be revised (cloning components, using HOC instead of hooks etc).

This course was very challenging for me because I had minimal knowledge of React and almost no practice. However, a lot of things became clearer to me, although some things still need to be clarified. This course gave me good practice, the quality of the materials and explanations are top notch as always. Thank you, Meta and Coursera!

Good overview of the advanced features of React. For me it was a significant step up in difficulty from the other classes. I liked the fact that the final project incorporated many of these concepts while introducing 2 heavily used 3rd party packages, Chakra UI and Formik with Yup.

Course is really good. In-video exams, quick exams and full exams are really nice. I've failed a couple of times but when I fail a question, feedback says: "You've failed in this question. You need to watch xxx section again". So I figured it out.

The course is excellent, and it was quite valuable for me. It gives us an in-depth explanation of the most common hooks, and different techniques to develop better applications.

The questions in quiz's were perfect for checking our knowledge for react. Also the project was enough to be able to start to work in real projects. Thank you META
