Very fast pace course but extremely informational. Engaging and well thought through. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in a career in IT. Even more for people that have been in the field a long time this is one of those must revisit to see what is new in the field. A+ Google and Coursera!! I am looking forward to seeing more.

I feel that this course delivered exactly what it said it would, a foundation in the field of technical support. While more has to be learned, this course provided a solid understanding of what technical support would entail - what would be used on the job, the issues one might face, and the type of customer service one would have to provide.

Excellent Course on the overview of Technical Support Fundamentals and on the IT industry in general. Extremely informative, learn at your own pace, and contains various resources that can help anyone, no matter their situation, succeed.

I am an undergraduate 3rd year IT student but learning IT was never this fun for me. I have learned a lot of new things and also something extra about things I knew. This course has made me known that whatever knowledge I have is so little and there is lot to learn. I am very much motivated and will definitely continue learning more about IT.

I am really very grateful for all that I have learned, the most interesting thing I learned was how I could solve problems remotely. I had some problems trying to access Ubuntu virtually from Windows but was able to solve it.

This has been a great 1st look into what IT support is all about! The course material is well-rounded and presented in an easy-to-follow manner. I also love that different media types are offered by way of videos, role-play, supplemental reading, quizzes, and assignments. I'm excited to dive into Networking... well, maybe a little scared!

This Program is Suitable & really helpful for everyone without much knowledge in IT Field but want a career in IT Field. This Course help learning many things about the history of computers as well as networking & Linux OS. The Instructors were great. I would recommend to take this course for building foundation before entering the IT World

I am a novice at computers. This first course taught me a lot of basic items. The forums were helpful because if I read the supplimental readings sometimes I still did not understand. In the forums fellow students would have other links that explained things a different way so I could get a grasp of the concepts. I cannot wait to learn more.

The fundamental course helps to correct some of my misinformed technical knowledge in IT support. The teaching is very structured and the quiz help me realize my shortcomings and I'm able to review the content again. The instructors are some of the best in the industry, and I'm so glad to be able to learn from their professional experience.

This course was extremely informative and gives you a lot of information so that you can understand IT conceptually from a high-level. It makes a great introductory class for this certification. A great benefit to the course was that it offered the ability to absorb it all by both watching video lectures as well as being able to read along.

It was an awesome course to learn more about the different types of hardware and software also not to mention the history of computer and how to build one from scratch also learning the different operating systems and how to navigate the different operating systems and how to decode computer language into human language via the ASCII table.

This course was awesome, the information was delivered in technical term so that you become more familiar with how to write your papers, it was eye opening to those who have or have not worked in the IT field. Its all step by step, and you can go back to review information that you might not have gotten initially when you watched the video.

This course was a great learning experience for a non-tech person like myself. I've heard about some contents throughout the course but never had a foundational understanding about them. After taking this course, I have accumulated better general understanding of IT and definitely more interested in exploring possibilities in IT careers.

This is a really good course with great and clear content. The instructors are specialists in the topics each one explain, which helps the understanding very much. I felt like the content is really introductory to prepare the student to the next course, but even so, I learnt many things I didn't know. It's a great course and a great start!

This course provides a comprehensive overview of how a computer works, different components that makes up a computer and accessories, the role of operating system and how computers communicate. It also provides some useful advice on dealing with customers while in an IT support role and some tips on job interviews. It's a very good start.

The course is a great high-level overview of essential skills. I had a good foundation of IT skills going into the course because I already work in IT, but it was able to show me a handful of things I didn't know that I didn't know. I highly recommend it to anybody looking to review their current skillset or start fresh in the world of IT.

If you are looking to change to a career in IT or want to start one, I highly recommend this course. My Father works as a director of IT for an international Medical company and he was surprised by what they cover just in the first course. I got his stamp of approval for this and I couldn't be happier with what I've learned in this course.

I do beleive this course is great for someone new to the field looking to gain knowledge on basics and the different types of programs, sysytems, and softwares you could have to learn or use. it also gives you the fundmentals and understanding of certain topics that could strike a particular intrest you may find you have in the word of IT

Great introduction to IT support. Has me excited to move to the next course. The instructors were great. Videos were well made and easy to understand. Test were easy to take and taking notes and saving videos or any documentation was a great feature that was also easy to use. Good experience for my first ever Coursera/Google online course.

This course was a great way to introduce novice and established people into the field of IT. I had a great time learning and the modules are very nicely laid out, it did have some hiccups but Coursera has a feedback system for that. I came away with learning new things as well as brushing up on old information. I'm glad i took this course.
