I enjoyed studying it and revising key concepts, principles and methods along with learning practical examples from effective contact tracing in managing the COVID-19 infection. This course was very well organized, and the delivery was superb. I was able to work at my own pace while also meeting the set deadline to complete the course. I was able to pause during lectures and take notes as I went along. This was a true gift and I thank for giving me yet another way to serve my community.

Very good overview of what a contact tracer does and communication skills required. It is a generally good overview for someone not necessarily interested in being a contact tracer to provide them an understanding of what to expect if they become infected or come into contact who has tested positive for COVID-19.

This course is very easy to understand. It does help me to know more about COVID-19, and help others. Now I know what to do to protect my family and friends and reduce the spread. This was a introduction to understanding the nuances of the disease and protocol involved when dealing with patients and their contacts. This course was engaging and easy to follow, with clear descriptions. The quiz environment is a bit dodgy in that care needs to be taken when scrolling that so that an answer gets changed resulting in an error. I feel as though I have a basic threshold understanding of the purpose and process of contact training.

This was a great and very informative course regarding contact tracing. Not only can this be applied for the current pandemic we are facing. But this can be applied and used as a foundation in my nursing practice and future public health degree.

The course is complex but very well taught and explained by the Lecturer. It was all encompassing and made sure it touched most of the scenarios that may happen while being a Contact Tracer. I really enjoyed the course even as some areas were confusing but with practical usage, the grey areas can be surmounted.

Was a great, well thought out (flow, execution, content and delivery) and accessible way to get a better understanding of the Contact Tracing process and the people that contribute to it on both sides of the communication path (case/contact/Tracer). It helped to humanize what I am sure can be a daunting process.

Contract tracing study has opened a new horizon in my life; it has impacted me with lots of knowledge about things I take for granted. Moreover, it is a new learning about the realities of our living which I believe would make a different in people’s way of life and their conduct towards survival and coexistence.

The information was very clearly presented and always consistent and respectful toward those with whom we will be working. The music at the beginning of each segment could be shorter. The course was informative and cogent, with easy to follow lecturing and quizzes. I took it at my pace and appreciated that I could step away, take a break, and come back to pick up where I left off. Dr. Gurley's style of lecturing kept me engaged and interested, and I didn't suffer from "death by PowerPoint".

I appreciate the thorough and detailed job done in relating both the medical and the social/emotional issues for all of us as a community to understand so we can work together, not only as contact tracers, but as concerned citizens in ending the spread of COVID-19. I appreciated the detailed lectures to increase our understanding and confidence in conducting thorough, professional and empathetic Contact Tracing with individual cases or contacts. This training helps us to be very effective in our history taking, assessment and guidance for individuals affected by COVID-19.

Was up to date (was even revised within the week I was completing), comprehensive and gave scenarios. Video examples of calls were helpful. The coverage about empathy, communication and building rapport I feel are vital to success in gaining trust and cooperation. I feel ready to help slow the spread, for sure!!

Guidelines are also given on how to act in the most appropriate way possible. Not on a medical level of course but the best way to become aware and be aware of the situation.

Great information about the COVID-19 virus and becoming a contact tracer. I really believe that one person in each household should take this course. It will make the contact tracer jobs easier and help people understand why contact tracing is so important. The professor did an amazing job teaching the class.

This course about Covid-19 is really beneficial in allowing us to understand more about the situation that is on going right now. It taught me lots of stuff that I did not know about and they were really interesting. This course is easy to go through and learn with subtitles and audio provided for us throughout.

The course is time demanding in this pandemic period because it will increase peoples awareness about COVID19 infection. So the spread of this disease could be limited by identifying new cases and contacs. The course was very informative and easy to understand. And of course it was a very brilliant presentation.

Great course - provided a simple, yet thorough explanation of COVID-19. Started with the background of the virus, how it reacts in an individual and how it is spread. Significant time was spent on how to communicate as a tracer which is greatly appreciated. Overall provided a good background to move forwards.
