I think it was a good start at the fundamentals course. For me being out of school so long and technology has come a long way since I graduated high school. So this course helped me start from scrach.

The course was so flexible and wasn't difficult to understand at all. This course was a great beginner course and easy to walk through. As a full-time college student the flexibility of it was astounding. I enjoyed being able to go through material that I already knew without being forced to have to review it. I could dive right into the practice quizzes and assessments.

This is an awesome starter course to build on fundamentals of IT. I have learned a lot, as well as refreshed my memory of what I learned back in college. Thank you so much for making this possible. Real people's stories are also very inspiring and make me want to become like them. Everyone has a fair shot with IT as long as you have the willingness to learn and explore.

The Technical Support Fundamentals course is important because it's sort of gives you a glimpse into many aspects of the role of Technical Support without overwhelming you. I move on to the next course, which is sure to be harder feeling less intimidated than I did coming into the Fundamentals course. Thanks to all the Google Team members! You guys did a wonderful job.

nowing how to identify, analyze, and resolve problems throughout the many layers of an organization’s technological systems, , seems like the focus of this segment. Working in the IT field is technically challenging and also very rewarding. You have to know how to work with people. I feel like there may be some really exciting quizzes coming!
while being nice to people

This course is so well designed and the instructors are the best because their presentation feels natural and they seem knowledgeable about the material. The information is well organized and the lecture scripts are well done. I wish the instructors and producers of this course would re-make Google's own Google Analytics course, which is low-quality and poorly executed.

Technical Support Fundamentals is a very well done and highly recommended course. While I have a background in IT support, I found myself saying "I already know this" quite often. After the fifth or sixth time, I realized that this was the purpose of this course. To introduce new users to a lot of the common knowledge, terminology, and logic behind Technical Support.

Awesome Course.
This course helped me understand things about the fundamentals of I.T. support that I assumed I knew but in reality, didn't really know. I hope to continue to grow with this course and utilized the knowledge I have acquired throughout this in the best possible way toward getting my first Job as an I.T support professional and grow my career from there.

I think even if you don't know much about computers, this course really will help you start. Don't think about "What if the lesson says something that I don't know about?". Trust me, when the course said no prior experience needed, they really mean it. Even if you already know stuff about computers, some lessons will bring you back to basics and helps you relearn them.

Well organized, informative, and detailed course. The course materials are delivered in a very simple way to understand, and the instructors were very knowledgeable and were able to meet the course objectives.
After completing this course, I knew I wanted to continue learning more about IT by taking the other Google courses, and I might even pursue an associate degree.

I love this course. It was my first experience with google courses and I really learned a lot of new things in a fun way. I was very surprised by the practical part (building a computer and work in Linux were so helpful for me) and I really liked all videos about how you should suppose to help customers, it was very funny (I need my fun cat videos!). Thank you so much!

This course is a great introduction to the world of IT! It has helped ease any anxieties that I had about so many concepts that I wondered where to find good teachers about. The few technical glitches on the platform pale in comparison to the tremendous learning that the platform enables. I look forward to the next module and the one after...until completion. Giddy up!

I didn't know what to expect from this course. It truly is the basic fundamentals of IT and what I've learned - is that I have a lot more to learn. I enjoy learning and distance learning is becoming increasing more and more prevalent in our society. To become better educated and knowledgeable with technology - I believe I will continue with the rest of the IT courses.

Coming into this course, I knew very little to nothing about IT. Going through this course, I have learned so much, and I was able to gain a passion for IT. I am aspiring to continue my knowledge for IT, computer science, and cybersecurity. In addition, this course was very easy and smooth to go through which made the learning experience very adequate and prestigious.

Great Course! I was definitely only a "user" when I started this course, and this put me completely outside my comfort zone. I feel like I have learned what would be expected of me in an IT Support Role, as well as the basics of what I might need to know. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to know if this industry might be right for them.

I'm very happy to have had the option to take this course, I'm pleased with my progress and I am ready to move on to the next courses, I want to learn as much as I can and push myself to learn as much as possible. This was a great introductory level course, for anyone who has a very limited amount of knowledge with computers and technology this was easy to comprehend.

Great intro into all the fundamentals of tech support. I really Enjoyed the labs even though at times I had complications with the configuration of my remote desktop server I was accessing ( uninstalling gimp was one of the tasks. however it was not installed on the server desktop when starting the lab.) overall I really enjoyed this course and am eager to learn more.

I love this method of learning and how all trainers explained each of the topic in detail and understandable manner with real life scenarios. This was the best learning course which i have attended never before and perfectly designed to whom who don't know about IT anything.
Thanks for Coursera and google faculty member to take this experience of learning from scratch

For the fundamentals, they really do a great job of giving the information in a layman sort of way while keeping the technical jargon present for the student to grasp. Personally, I already had most of the knowledge presented in this area of the course, though there were pieces of information that I was able to walk away with learn or having a better understanding of.

My only regret is that I waited so long to start this program. I had the link saved in my bookmarks for at least a year. I've gotten fed up with my current job, which is retail. I've always been tech savvy, so I finally decided to pull the trigger. All the lessons are very graspable. I think this type of learning is fantastic and I'm excited for what the future holds.

As someone who has always had an interest in IT, but is unable to participate in an IT program at a college or university, this course hit a perfect balance of refreshing my knowledge, teaching me a few new things, and making me feel prepared to continue on with the overall program. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to see if IT is a good fit for them.

I really quite liked the overview course, as it gave me an idea of what will come next. I did find a few sections a bit difficult to follow, largely because it was such a surface coverage, and I am SO new to this that I wasn't always clear on what I should or should not completely have under my belt at this point, but I am sure that it will all become clear later on.
