By the end of this project, you will be able to generate a user experience onboarding map to visualize the complete entry process that a user has at the start of their relationship with a brand so that an organization can grow longevity by ensuring that they get off on the right foot with users.
To do this you will gain hands-on experience exercising empathy to accurately document brand touchpoint, pain points, and gain points across the onboarding journey in the Miro online visual collaboration platform for teamwork. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
In a video that plays in a split-screen with your work area, your instructor will walk you through these steps:
Review the value of onboarding mapping, the fundamentals of User Interface (UI) design, and how both support the User Experience (UX).
Identify components of UX onboarding maps and consider the benefits of mapping the foundation of brand to user relationships.
Frame the user’s onboarding experience, identify the touchpoints, pain points, and gain points that you will document in your project, and explore maps in Miro.
Explore the templates and tools available and begin documenting the user’s onboarding experience in Miro.
Visualize the user’s onboarding experience and identify opportunities to support the project scenario in Miro.
Some familiarity with Customer Journey mapping will be helpful.
