The course was a bit too elementary.

Exams are too easy and can be done by common sense. Very superficial information, some more insights would be great. Maybe valuable for people with no background in exercise

Sit Less Get Active was a great course because I could implement it in my life. With being active it's important that you implement it in your daily life. I believe that if you are active you won't have as many aches and pains as well as giving your mind a break and furthermore the more active you are then the endorphins kick in so that you can have a great life. I walk about 5000 steps a day so that is very good because the more walking I do the better my mental health is.

This course is highly informative for a wide range of audiences. The material is easily digestible and filled with evidence-based suggestions on starting and sustaining a life of physical fitness regardless of one's status in life. Furthermore, the videos and other paraphernalia can be used to remind oneself of the need to sit less and get active, and to help convince others to do the same.

Our life often lead us to a more sedentary life, both work and family obligations are sometimes reasons to sit and find rest on the sofa. But the more you sit the harder to reverse it. So at that time I saw this mooc and my life changed again. Movement requires to give some time and energy but gives you back joy, more energy and vitality.

Do not wait come, see it and Sit Less, Get Active.

Interesting course, I've learnt new information about the way to be more active, how to organise and plan a strategy to achieve my goals for a specific activity. And how to organise my schedule to be more active in my everyday life (walking to go to work,...). I've learnt also, how I could inform and give advices to family and friends to have a healthier life and be more active. Thanks

Really interesting course which showcases the importance of physical activity in day to day life, makes you think more about your own physical activity levels, gives the opportunity to read papers investigating the evidence base of physical activity and offers practical advice on how to overcome barriers to physical activity and decrease sedentary time. Would recommend!

I really appreciate the the extensive bibliography that you shared in the course.

I had always considered myself physically active but I had never questioned myself about the damage that caused me sitting for so many hours in a day. This course has definitely helped me create more awareness about the benefit to my health of sitting less.

I'm quite a fitness buff, and I didn't really learn anything new from this course. But it is a great summary of how activity can improve anyone's life, and how to easily become more active. It is short, well presented, and provides many links to external articles if you want to know more about a certain part of the course.

I found this course incredibly helpful and full of excellent ideas and tips to get me to move more and sit less. For me there was an added bonus - I was born in Edinburgh but moved to the USA in my forties and have lived here for 20 years. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sites of Edinburgh in many of the video clips.

This is a relatively short course to get motivated to be more physically active and less sedentary time by having a set of goals and discussed ways on how to achieve it. The topics are straightforward in general so you wont really get bored on the concepts. Great job to the instructors.

Loved the course! Really got me thinking of ways to be more active in my life. And how to put that into goal form and then implement that into my daily routine. Also got me using my phone app for step counting. And got me motivated to make this a habit in my life! Great course! :)

This is a great course for those who need to understand all the basis about physical activity, it was a great review about pre-existing knowledge and gave me a different insight about things we can do to improve our overall health by doing small but meaningful changes.

Excellent ways to increase your daily physical activity. Loved all the readings, especially providing evidence-based data. I plan on implementing a lot of the suggestions in my classroom in September, if we go back to the classroom in September (fingers crossed).

Interesting, simple and interactive course that provided useful information through reading, writing, videos, comedy making it more fascinating. Quiz were quick and short, more focused on how we would make ourselves more active rather than on memorizing everything.
