This course was very necessary especially with the increase and spike in daily cases in the USA. My state and city is one of the VERY hot spots. Taking this course helps me help others and provides a means to perfrom the some of the duties of Contact Tracing. Syllabus was thorough and easy to follow. Very good content with quizzes that tested for understanding.

This course is very informative. Each topic is clearly explained and the section quizzes are challenging. I also loved the pace the course took me on and I was never bored with the videos or information being presented. The final test is fair and the material is very well put together. Thank you for such a great informative session, ending with possible employment.

The John Hopkins contact tracing course was very informative as well as very easy to understand and follow. The presentation was laid out in an efficient manner and made it easy to learn and apply the concepts to real life situations. I would highly encourage anybody to take this course if they want to learn more about COVID-19 or about how to be a contact tracer.

I think that it is awesome that Coursera is offering this certificate course for free. The knowledge and skills that I gained are valuable in many different areas of life, not just as a contact tracer. The instructor was very clear and she did an excellent job expressing the information, the audio was also excellent on both my computer and through the mobile app.

I do think that this class, regardless of whether you go on to become a contact tracer or not, has so much value to help squash all of the misinformation floating around. It's so important to be informed in this whole, weird world that we're living in, but I know I've shared this class with others and I firmly believe that this is making the world a better place.

I think this was amazing, though I'm doing this for a job the knowledge and understanding of COV19 was so worth. I truly understand now even more the need for others and myself to care of enough to save our lives and that of others. If you just want to know more about COV-19 Highly recommend this course. From the beginning I know I need to take this course not because it is a free course with free certificate but I need to learn more about COVID-19 as we are in the middle of pandemic. In addition, I want to spread the awareness to my family members, closed friends eventually we can help our Malaysian Government to control the virus transmission in the community.

I have ZERO public health background. This was my first ever coursera class that I took. The course layout was excellent. I suggest many people who have interest of COVID19 to check it out. I didnt have the intention of becoming a contact tracer at the beginning, however after this course, i thought it would be a great volunteer experience to help the community.

I felt that by associated all of the poor examples of communication with "Drew" and all of the good examples of communication with "Amy" that the related course content could be perceived as a sexist/racist stereotype on those who have effective communication and contact tracing skill. Maybe mix that up 50-50 at least so both of them have good and bad examples.

This is an excellent course. It gives learners the basics (SARS-CoV-2, contact tracing steps) as well as the more complex aspects that COVID-19 Contact Tracing entails (Ethics, Technological tools, and Effective communication skills). This is an excellent course on the basic understanding of the COVID Disease but also the details of being a contact tracer. The information that was provided in this course could be used for all elements of communicating to people in general. Excellent course, well thought out questions and excellent video descriptions to help put everything into perspective.

This was an excellent course. Easy to follow. I liked that it offered a variety of ways to gather notes to review. I found that downloading the slides as pdf was my best way to review and revisit concepts. The instructor was very clear and easy to understand. The example questions to use on the interview will be very helpful in developing a natural script.

I enjoyed this course. It was so easy to understand and complete. The COVID-19 Contact Tracing course was my first online course. It was a great intro to online classes for me, it gave me the confidence to try more online classes. I learn so much and a lot of questions I've had about COVID-19 are now cleared up.
