Fabulous course. I learned a lot of does and doesn't make us happy, and learned valuable tools for introducing and integrating new habits into my life that will definitely contribute to my well-being.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Science of Well-Being, learning about Happiness and that it is not necessarily what we think it is. Dr. Laurie Santos has put her heart into this program and I am so grateful to have been able to take the course. The fact that it is free is unbelievable. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Dr. Santos, Yale University and everyone involved in making it accessible to the general population.

Great course. Concisely but precisely Professor Lorie Santos guided us through relevant researches and studies to make points about misconceptions about happiness, useful techniques to build habits to practicing behaviors that actually lead to happiness with scientific results. The tempo of the course was good, and interjected interviews with other psychology professors were intriguing too. Highly recommend it.

A Fantastic Course! It was chock full of learning opportunities and my happiness scores at the end of the course provides the proof, with a 13% increase for Perma and a 9% increase for "The Authentic Happiness." I'm a big-time believer on the value of taking this course. Those who do will find it life-changing. My gratitude for having had the opportunity to experience this terrific class!

What a great course, especially during an unusual and challenging period like a pandemic. This course had a very positive (and hopefully lasting) impact on my happiness and well-being. I feel much more equipped now to understand what pitfalls exist to living a happy and fulfilling life, as well as having tools to avoid and overcome those obstacles. I will be recommending this course to many of my friends/family.

I think that it is a very good course, because theach us many ways to discover the stuffs that does not help us and methods and techniques to live better, in Well-Being

This course was incredible and though I had learned a lot of the content elsewhere through self-study, the way that Dr Santos presents it really spoke to me. It enabled me to make the changes I needed and to make them last in a way that changed my outlook and happiness levels significantly. And now I am equipped to maintain the changes I've made and continue to make others that will contribute to my happiness.

This has been very helpful. Some of the studies I'd heard before, but it's all put together in a very applicable way. I'm going through some major life changes and I'm really trying to incorporate several of these tactics into my routines and thoughts (meditation, gratitude, kindness, connections, growth mindset, Woop, strengths, and resetting my reference points). It's a lot to keep in mind!

It was very much enlightening. For someone who was in active search for happiness and well-being and had spent much time reading a lot of self-help books, the course offered me the consolidated version of all self-help books. And the best part is, everything was backed by research and science. Not only that, it really nudge me to act on what we have learned through the rewirement challenge. It was a huge help!

The new information I've learned to help me remain mindful through a time of great change in my life has been invaluable. Prof. Laurie is engaging and kind in the video lectures. Lauren was amazing! This course was super helpful to me, especially during the COVID pandemic! I've been stuck at home since March 2020, and was able to work on myself through this course. The meditation part has been a huge help for me. I loved listening to all the talks, and doing the projects. I even recommended this course for my neighbor's daughter, who has severe anxiety and depression. Thank you!

This is a fantastic course for anyone wanting to rezone their approach to life and explore a new way of looking at things. I had some downtime due to COVID-19 and decided to try this course out. While the course itself is 'easy' - in terms of the watching videos etc, the challenge came from using the time to stick to the rewirement process of well-being and finding happiness. Definitely a course worth doing.

I have been reading about happiness and well being for years. This is the first time that there is some much evidence based info that it was making me jump of joy. I love science and will believe anything if there is evidence. I also like the fact that Laurie turns the knowledge into habits that will make the difference. I will modify my learnings from Laurie's course to suite my own life the best. Thank You.

I found this course really helpful, useful and insightful. It got me thinking and was the right amount of practical and lectures.
Dr Santos is a big positive of the course and guides you towards big revelations while being down to earth and kind with it.
My happiness scores improved a lot and I really didn't think they would when I started - that must be testament to the course. 5 stars and highly recommended!

Truly enjoyed the content, pace and speakers. The course is an excellent blend of theory, concept, hands-on exercises as well as interaction with fellow course takers. Really loved Professor Santos's engaging lecture and her ability to present complex psychological content in a simple way with ample examples. Well worth investing the time; walked away with plenty of tools and methods to improve my well being.

This course is so applicable to daily life. I truly benefited from it. As a working professional, I appreciated that everything you needed to know was covered in the lectures and I could choose to read further from the suggested readings provided if I wanted to. Professor Laurie Santos is amazing and relatable. My well-being/happiness scores improved tremendously and it feels like it! I definitely recommend.

Co-workers had forwarded this course to me, and I'm the only one of the group that actually did it. I felt it was very worthwhile and helped me set wellbeing goals. With all that is going on right now (Covid, not being able to see my family and most of my friends), it has put me in a better mindset and given me solid tools to better myself so that I will be a better person once we can all be together again.

I appreciate your time Professor Laurie Santos. I thoroughly enjoyed this, my first college course EVER! I've always wanted to take College Courses, but the older I got, the more afraid I was. I had a life threatening scare in September and decided that there was no better time than now to dive in and take a course. I am proud of myself as is my husband, children and mother. I found the material in the course engaging and informative. The course has helped me to think more about what are the most important things to live a good life no matter what set of circumstances I find myself in. I read Oettingen's book about using the WOOP technique and now I am going to read the book on Flow. Professor Santos has a brilliant lecture style which made the videos very enjoyable to watch.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I have been going through some depression for awhile now and needed to make some changes and I figured during a pandemic while I'm quarantined and the new home school teacher now is the time to make me a priority and to make me happy and I am proud to say I was successful and will continue to work on making me happy and showing my children how to be happy as well. I’m so grateful that this course was offered and appreciate so much the hard work done by Dr Santos. I wish everyone could take this course! I’m much more relaxed and do not have the frantic multi tasking habit thinking the more I got done the better I’d feel. Not so. Time affluence and putting my time in the real things that make me happy, give better results. Thank you for this life changing course!

I consider that the subject is important for any person, since we all face daily with obstacles; and this course gives us tools to learn how to channel them, which leads us to live a healthier life physically and mentally. The course is very easy to understand, the classes are pleasant, there are practices and the material is interesting and very well founded. Thank you for such an excellent contribution.

The Instructor is knowledgeable, professional, engaging, provided good content, along with videos including students, visually approachable, including body language. The instructor came across as encouraging, including with verbal tones, refreshing to hear and see at present. All appreciated from this Instructor. This course is full of information that I wish I could have put into place 20 years ago. The information is put forward in a very logical and non-judgmental way. It shows us regular humans that there is room for improvement even if it is only in 10-minutes a day. I want to read every book referenced in this course and, now that I've completed the course, I am excited to share what I've learned with others.

The pandemic is what made me seek out effective ways to quarantine and keep my sanity. I heard that Yale was offering a free course on The Science of Well-Being and I was eager to sign-up. The instructor Laurie Santos delivered on this course. The instruction and course materials were spot on. I am thankful that I jumped at the chance to gain some first- hand knowledge of this subject. I am happier!!!
